I think the difference as conference speakers/ mic is minimal, does not justify the x2 price. But if you need in a bigger room 2 speakers connected, then 710 is the choice. Not sure what other brands offer in multiple connection capability? Any suggestions?
A great comparison. I'm stuck between these two models it's just me in my smallish office at home, So not sure which one would be better. If I'm right the only difference would be for me that the 710 sound quality is a little bit better.
The big question is mic range and max loudness if one is for up to 8 ppl and one is 4. That wasn't tested in the primary difference test here. Clarity at 6' and 16' type test between the two.
Thanks for the great review. I'll stick with the 510. The improvements on the 710 are minimal for my usage, and I could tell no difference in the Mic test (which is very important to me). If there was a significant improvement there, I would go for the 710.
You're welcome! Here's a more up to date mic test video of Jabra speakerphones for you to reference th-cam.com/video/eWT0705v674/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xd9DEM8oDIwZiEOV
Hi Bruce, for the best experience when using this speakerphone, the dongle is highly recommended and the quality can't be guaranteed without it. You can always try to connect it over Bluetooth without the dongle to see your experience but it isn't recommended.
Do you know how the sound is on the receiving end when using Avaya one x communicator? I currently have an eMeet and the sound quality is muffled-ish sounding or it’s just not very clear according to my patients.
From what we hear the audio quality is good. Another to consider that has very good audio/mic quality for a speakerphone is here th-cam.com/video/2q6QmybDH2c/w-d-xo.html
hi, great video. what is the overall performance gain using the 510+’s Bluetooth dongle instead of a laptop’s regular Bluetooth connection (no dongle)?
Hi Tony, customers that connect an audio device to their computer via Bluetooth without a dongle come to find audio issues, inconsistent connectivity and not getting simple features like being able to adjust volumes or mute/unmute. Anytime you plan to connect an audio device to a computer like a headset or speakerphone, we always highly recommend getting one with the dongle for the best experience.
Hi Shukri. The Jabra Speak 710 is able to have two units paired together. You do need to buy two units as they're sold individually. I hope this answers your question. You bet! That's when you have to ask yourself what is the best value to you all things considered :) thanks for watching and let us know if you have any video ideas in the future you'd like us to create.
Little to no difference between the 8ft away test but next time splice them together and say the same thing, under the same conditions for a proper test. Grazie!
Great video! 710 is the one we will go for. BTW, what is that track you use to test? It is a great tune.

Below are a few options of other speakerphones that can have two speakers connected.
Epos SP220 UC
Poly Sync 60
eMeet M220
Hi, good review.
What is the mic you're using ? Thanks.
We use the Rhode mic here amzn.to/3yL5kMy
does the 510 have a cord to connect to the pc?
Yes, it does.
I could hear a lot of background noise with both of those. Is there a way to improve that?
There's no further way to adjust the mic noise cancellation aside from adding this software krisp.ai/?ref=headsetadvisor
710 is better, 510 a little muffy. My office use 510 because it's cheaper and they don't care about the voice quality
Thank you for watching! The 710 is definitely a nice upgrade to the 510.
Same here in Germany.

We're dropping a video Monday that will have comparisons of all Jabra Speak speakerphones at 3 ft, 5ft and 10ft, stay tuned!
can you synch 2 510s?
Hi Paul, no you can't.

Thanks for the test. We're choosing one of these for our office.
Thanks for watching :)
Does the 710 paired together work with Webex?
is dongle needed to connect over BT ?

This was an excellent question. Same question that I had as well. Thanks for asking.
how many of 710 can pair together?

Thank you for your excellent demo. The 710 is better than 510, except the price....🤣🤣🤣

Yes 710 much better. Video is very helpful to decide 510 vs 710. Thank you very much
Hi Sukeev, thank you for watching and giving us your feedback!

Thanks for the feedback to help us improve :)
Seems voice better catched by 510
