Love all the options with Silver Surfer, definitely need to try a couple of these decks out. Unfortunately the one I really want to play I can't because I don't have Mr Negative. Also love all the battles and the longer videos are awesome in my opinion.
The Brood Silver surfer combo is insane. I literally snap as soon as I see them both. Unfortunately i don't a have lot of the cards you listed but the deck I run has seen me win about 80% of my matches. I don't even have a 6 cost card in my deck on a 5 cost Nick Fury.
I love your long runtimes. I watch your episodes when I am working to help me become a better player in my off time.

for silver surfer ofc cosmo is the main counter but a late wave can really mess up your plays too when you want to play all your combo pieces and everything is 4 energy...
leader can be dangerous too.

Not gonna lie, this is the best channel for deck ideas. I have been using Silver Surfer in a deck with whatever I have & just Surfer has saved my ass so many times in the final turn thanks to Sera. The only crucial cards I'm missing are Thor & Brood. Once I get these 2 , things are going to get wild.
Funny how you called the discard Lockjaw deck Silver Lock.. its the name I gave my Sera miracles Lockjaw Silver Surfer deck.. (was before I checked this video) 😋
I dont have Wong, Mystique, Brood nor Mr.Negative.. even missing things like Polaris and Juggernaut, but do far my deck has been doing pretty good.
My list is almost pure 3 cost, miracle it is working, but so far pretty good track record with it.
Deck: Nova, Okoye, Iron Heart, Silver Surfer, Bishop, Storm, Lockjaw, Mr.Fantastic, Killmonger, Thor, Maximus, Sera
Thought I would share it for anyone who is interested. Might be ways to optimise it better but so far its a lot of fun! 😋

I've been playing Silver Surfer constantly since he dropped. My first string of games, I slaughtered everyone and climbed ranks. But all of a sudden today, it's like I got nerfed and I NEVER draw Silver Surfer. Like he shows up 1/10 times which makes no sense statically lol. Idk what's going on, I even tried playing with Chavez to thin the deck a little, he just never shows up 😅

I feel u totally! The first 24 hours of that "Lamentis" Location, my DEATH didnt appear so much that i actually started recording my games so that i could calculate the odds later on.
Over a 3 hour period, Death , which SHOULD appear during tthe course of the match "roughly" 50% of the time, only showed up a LOW 20% or so.
The low appearance rate blew my mind, and fundamentally changed how i build decks! Silver Surfer btw, today, has been more "normal" for me. But that experience with Death taught me NOT to count on what we learned about probability in school/college.
Love the channel, thanks for the longer more in depth videos. My commute home is 40 minutes - love when just one video can fill most of that time. I love Patriot and Discard trying some surfer combos, for the most part works well.
My favorite deck right now is Hella, Lockjaw, Quick Silver, Domino, Chavez, Magento, Hulk, Cosmo, Sword Master, Jubilee, Lady Sif, Infinaut - with QS, Domino, Chavez - you will get Hella late game 75% of the time.. use QS/Domino to trigger LockJaw... I found that without QS/Domino I would get Hella to early and she would get discarded most of the time.. give it a try won 8 out of 10 with this.
My main decks been a Patriot/Mystique deck which S. Surfer slots perfectly into. Then yesterday Sera showed up in my shop in the morning and then I got Wong from the last cache I opened last night so suddenly I have a ton of possibilities at my fingertips for deck building. Peviously my lucks been average to slight above average overall when it came to the shop cards and caches but lately I've been on fire. Now I just need Brood and I'll be golden for a while (still have 1600 tokens but either Death or Destroyer already have dibs on 1k of those).
I also picked up Zola from the shop a couple of days ago so I'll try the Black Panther/Wong/Zola combo wombo at some point as well. I was going save my last tokens to snipe She-Hulk or another pool 4 card (possibly start saving the 6k tokens needed for Knull in mid Dec) but now I think just getting through pool 3 as fast as I can is the best option since I'll get 5x to 6x the amount of tokens each month once I'm pool 3 complete. That way ill be able to snipe 1 extra pool 5 card (the first being the BP card each month) or 2 pool 4 cards as they release. My guess is players who are early into poll 3 like myself, but decided to buy 2 pool 4 or even 1 pool 5 card with their intial 6k tokens, will soon realize they slowed down their own progress (significantly) especially as more and more pool 5 cards are released and they can st best buy 1 pool 3 card each month as they'll only get 1k tokens from the caches. Gotta play the long game to truly get ahead imo.
Please include replacement options for series 4 cards like absorbing man. I understand that he has no real replacement but any recommendations would be nice

When you use Psylocke and Sera on a negative deck, Magik isn't important, right?
Man, silver surfer is amazing, I'm so glad he works so well in these negative decks and I will always try to include Rogue as well, since I don't really like Storm even though I understand the value she brings to a deck but stealing a wong with Rogue and moving that effect on another lane with Mystique is by far my favorite thing to do :P
Now if the rng gods would be so nice to let me have a Sera, Wong, Psylocke it would be nice. I was so lucky to have all the cards for a Baero deck, but man it's not my playstyle at all. After playing pretty much all of the cards I can so far, on reveal with wong negative is what I dig the most. Because sure, having a powerful deck matters but having fun is most important to me.
You can also do Cerebro 2 with surfer. There's a lot of 3 cost cards with 2 power like storm, brood and Mr fantastic. Surfer even gives Cerebro some power too.

I haven't pulled Wong yet, though - would you still recommend the Negative Surfer deck (the one without Bast) if you had to cut Wong? If so, what would you suggest as a replacement?

I've been playing a version with psylocke and Mr negative. It does pretty well.
Any advise on who to use if no absorbing man? Was thinking wolfsbane or rogue.
Silver Surfer has been so frustrating for me. I feel like you can't play it reliably without Brood & Maximus
I’ve been winning pretty consistently without Brood. I do have Maximus tho but I think he can be replaced. Update: just got Brood so disregard previous statement 😂
Surfer in patriot deck is great if you don't have brood etc

Agree on Brood though. He's too good with Surfer. Can still win without him though
Been trying to make cerebro 3 work without majik (pulled Valkyrie), overall it seemed to work okay but felt inconsistent compared to the 2bro deck I hit infinite with that season.
I noticed I have all the cards in your negative list and all I have to say is just... Wow. It didn't seem that crazy when I played against it, but man this deck is consistent, and you get some absolutely ridiculous final turns sometimes. Wong/Mystique/Surfer, Wong/Surfer/Absorbing man, etc. Think this is going to be my deck for climbing infinite this season, feels incredibly powerful.
I give thumbs up just for that sales speech in the beginning :D

I’ve been playing another variant of Sera-Surfer I included Venom to take care of non-3 cost cards which includes DD Black widow and Sera to get that extra buff from surfer on turn 6

I just pulled Absorbing Man. I need Psylocke and Brood. Brood is the one I need so bad.
Someone please a little advice, I just got Thanos in my token shop but I already spent almost everything on She Hulk the other day. Do I keep him pinned for 5.2k tokens or just let it roll and grab some other pool 3 cards?
I vote pool 3 cards. Thanos is his own style and honestly pretty easy to get around. Unless you like the idea of his play style, I’d bet you could get better use and value out of pool 3 cards.
Question - if you play a 3-cost card that's had its cost reduced to 2 via Sera, would it get boosted by the Silver Surfer or not?
Surfer goes by ORIGINAL cost so yes it would boost them!
Same goes for a card that gets turned Negative

Sunspot and Cosmo will be replaced with Bast and Brood when I unlock them. Even as is though, it's fairly consistent. Magik, Sera, and Mister Negative all serve the same purpose of helping you cast as many 3s as possible. In most games having just one is enough, but the games with all 3 are absurd

She’s good in movement decks as you can activate mile’s effect on turn 4 and is overall a good 3 drop

Absorbing man honestly isn't all that great in these lists if you don't draw Surfer. Same with wong, just add wolfsbane if you have the rest of the core Mr. Negative deck or Mr. Fantastic.

When your referring to pool 1 or 2 decks what does the meaning of pool mean?
You will start at Collection Level 0 and it will rise as you improve the rarity of your cards with Boosters. You get a bonus every few Collection Levels early on, but the rewards become fewer as you rise through the levels. After Collection Level 18, you unlock Marvel Snap card pools.
Marvel Snap has 3 card pools, each getting unlocked at different Collection Levels. Each pool has a different set of cards with more advanced abilities the higher the pool is.
Pool 1 Collection Levels 18 - 214
Pool 2 Collection Levels 222 - 474
Pool 3 486+

I'm just at the ass end of pool 2 so seeing all these videoes of crazy decks are cool, but I just know I'm not going to be kissing the quality of these decks for a while. Always leaves me feeling a little alienated. Like the squidward meme looking out of the window seeing everybody else having fun. Just a product of being a new player of only a few weeks, nothing can be done - just gotta grind.
Hopefully its not too painful climbing up the collection list going forward. I have like an 80% win rate with a pool 2 devildino deck that's a lotta fun for me. I'm just waiting for that to flip on me though. I'lll just be meat for the grinder - supreme donator of cubes these next few weeks/months lol. Good thing ranked isn't a huge priority for me right now, but a part of me thinks I should hold my low collection list so I can keep dominating the kiddie pool that is pool 2.

Thank you for the pool choices. I'm a huge real life Surfer fan, and was excited to play him. Not going to lie, in the Marvel universe, Surfer is *extremely* powerful, coming close to titans like Thanos, however in Snap, they gave him 0 power. That just...feels terrible. He could melt so many other characters that have way more power than him. I know they are balancing cost to power to ability...but zero power is just an insult, the dude wields the POWER COSMIC! Great content, thanks!
As usual, most decks for Pool 3 contain key cards that I don't have yet.
I have a better surfer deck. Quick silver and Domino go perfect with a 3 star deck.
