I still don't understand how some people say the game is not pay to win when one of the bests cards in the game is behind an 11 dollar paywall. I'm playing around rank 70-80 and almost half of the decks I face run Silver Surfer, it feels so frustrating.
Well if you think about it silver surfer will be a pool 5 card so of course he’s op and if you rlly think about it 10$ for a rlly nice card that will be pool 5 in the future is a snag I started playing a ss deck and I went from 60 to 80 in 2 days 😅😊
@@mark1168 Yes so you can counter it the 50% of the times you reveal first and whenever you actually predict where he will be placed (as he is a global effect). Sounds like a solid plan.
Bast feels better than foster just because you can make a quick change of gameplan in the early game. You can look and your hand and wait until turn 2. If you dont see Psylock and Negative or if you see most of the good targets on your hand you can obviusly concede, but you also can and should play Bast and just go into the silver surfer plan. Foster is either EXCELLENT or useless. While bast is only useless if you top deck on turn 6 (which foster also feels like that) or you dont play it on the right moment to get hte most value.

You needed to add Adam warlock! Imagine him being 3 power and you get extra draws when you play negative. You could be playing double the cards on turn 6!
@@fatalalejandro adam warlock actually works with negative! All the cards you draw will be flipped because of negative so you will have way higher chances of doing iron man mystique combos and such
I played this deck with Adam Warlock and personally did not find it that good. If you don't hit him with Bast or negative he is very dead. And even when I did, it didn't feel like it was really worth it

I’ve been running a sandman deck as a counter pick to surfers. The core is sandman, Panther, and Zola so I’m playing in two lanes while the opponent can generally only play in one at a time. Leader does the same thing. It generally feels pretty good because a Zola play can’t often be leadered well either.
I personally wouldn't recommend it. Bast + Brood, or Forge + Brood is just too good. And playing Mister Negative on 3 is ideal for this type of deck. You're better off playing another type deck.
@@RegisKillbin You can't play Negative til turn 3. If you're lucky. At this point there are no 3 costs on the board, with five in hand and two cards on the board amounting to zero points. I just don't think this deck is viable without Bast.
@@DroosterH I dunno man, I climbed from like 90 to 97 with no Bast this season. I just got her right before recording this video. I ran Jane Foster instead. Drawing 1-3 Negative cards for a final turn while playing an 8 power creates some monster swings. There are plenty of Forge into Brood turns, then Negative on 4, Jane on 5, and a monster turn 6. You don't even really need to take my word for it. Just look at the games in this video where we didn't hit Bast. The deck can still function just fine.

I think it needs to be nerfed so that it's just 1 card, or buff cards that don't have an effect so that Leech doesn't have as big of an impact. The issue is that it isn't just "Ah damn, they beat me with a better deck and better strategy", it's "Oh damn I can't even play my deck now", which is not good for a card game in my opinion.
@@brad___5270 Yes, everyone gets different cards in their token shops but the price is fixed according to the card rarity. Pool 3 cards are 1000 tokens, Pool 4 are 3000 tokens and Pool 5 (which Bast is in currently) are 6000 tokens.
I really wish they made selective matchmaking based on what cards the players own. Really don't want to keep facing silver surfers. Intentional or not, there's currently a huge power gap between premium players vs f2p players. Forget about reaching infinite with your dingy movement deck when you opponent can barf out 12+ power on 2/3 locations.
This deck is so insanely busted it's amazing I legit don't know how to play against or even beat it lmao I dunno what counters it besides maybe some lucky leech hits on turn 5.
Sandman might counter it pretty hard. Rogue and Enchantress probably hurt it, as well as Korg and Rockslide Edit: i don't think we're at a point where you can really run Sandman, but with Sera / Quinjet / She-Hulk / Death stuff, it's getting close
Play big power , and include Wave and play it on turn 5, as long as you distribute your power well (usually you will when fighting this deck), you'll easily win since they dont usually use magik on turn 5. I have fought this deck dozen times using my Hela deck plus wave on 5 and its brutally effective !

I have all the cards but Bast and I gotta admit that yes, it s still strong but not tier 1 imo. That card makes a lot of difference :/

Bast is better imo because a Jane foster negative Deck does nothing without negative while the bast deck wins games without negative

Use Cosmo, if you can predict where your opponent is gonna drop Surfer (and usually it's not that hard to predict) you win

silver surfer is the best card in the game the cost to stat ratio is busted when the only deck building requirement is to have a few more 3 drops

Wouldn’t playing mystique mid copying iron man against 3 red skull win 100%?
9 power each = 36. 36*2^4?
There were 3 Skulls in the center, so the Mystique would have 6 stats each. But yeah in total it would give 384 stats.

Wouldnt that go against Mr negative not being able to flip as many cards

I was very lucky, Bast was my first tier 4/5 card. Insane value and yes it was easy to get to infinite with a deck similar to this

I personally wouldn't recommend it. Bast + Brood, or Forge + Brood is just too good. And playing Mister Negative on 3 is ideal for this type of deck. You're better off playing another type deck.
Any good replacement for Mystique? Not been lucky to pull her
Mystique isn't essential, can swap her for any 3 drop. Bishop is insane in this deck.
My lvl is not high enough to get mister negativ yet. What will happen, when you play Mister negativ with hobgoblin?
