Hi mate fantastic to to see the birds returning of the race must be great to watch close up when do you start racing young birds and what's the maximum distance you will get fly from 👍
Thank you. I think the inland flights go to around 180 miles but if channel racing is back on there's the option to send to France, possibly 500 miles. I'm not sure if anyone sends young birds that far though.
@@howtotrainyourpigeon yes mate would be nice to see the birds go back over channel found a hen the once going to work that had done nearly 550 miles from bordeaux south France and was short of making it home by about 10 miles the old chap soon came and fetched her back he said she had done 350 miles a few weeks before so was one his good birds and gave me £5 to buy me a sandwich with was nice of him would love to have some my self but unfortunately live in a flat great videos keep them coming 👍

@@simonbealey3080 a lot of people keep them on allotments, so you don't necessarily need your own garden.
