yes, he finished 7th

only top 4 out of pools make it to DE's. tourette finished 7th in the giant pool of 24. he won 13/22 bouts he fenced (one fencer withdrew because of an injury)

Dancing tuna and Moelis was up 4-0 on Itkin before winning 5-4. A pool bout isn't necessarily indicative of what will happen in a DE
