any time i hear "the diet industry is a 2 and a half billion dollar industry", i think about how the fast food industry's worth is over $300 billion /in the US alone/
Yeah, like the diet and wellness industry isn't sneakily trying to get people into dieting but fast food companies do sneaky things that might affect your body, like increasing portion sizes over the years, or using ingredients that are terrible for you, like high fructose corn syrup or preservatives linked to cancr. I honestly don't know why they're not angrier at the junk food industry seeing as it was likely that particular industry helped make them the way they are, but that involves accepting reality. I think deep down they obviously love the junk food industry, it's the dealer who supplies the addict with what they crave. It's easier to whinge on Tiktok about how diet culture, rcism, sxism and class based discrimination blablabla is at fault, because then the blame is out of their hands and it's everyone elses problem. These folk can't accept accountability, if they accepted it was solely their fault and problem as adults, it is them who grossly overeats, and only them up can stop the cycle. The fast food industry is awful, far worse than the diet industry

eating more on ur period isn't an b.e.d, it's just u being hungrier because progesterone, a sex hormone, reaches its peak about one week before menstruation begins and stimulates appetite. having a binge eating disorder isn't a simple fix and u can be any size to have one (btw this was in no way meant to be rude or offend u, sorry if it came off that way. have a good day 💞)
@@rubestar09 thank you for the kind words. ik eating more on ur period is normal, but i was binge eating to the point of being sick. i’m on the more lean side, and overeating during my period caused even more severe bloating, a lot of GI issues and so much pain. i suddenly look pregnant and the pain is almost unbearable if i keep eating. now that i can be aware and control it better my periods are less painful, the food you put into your body really affects the way you feel. again, i appreciate the non-hostile comment and agree with your words for the majority of people, but for me personally, it was very unhealthy levels of binging. a nice day to you too!!
There’s no way a PT would put anyone on a treadmill at 6 miles an hour unless they were a runner to start. They actually always start you walking to warm up so I’m guessing none of that ever happened.
If you're overweight and PT would most likely not even touch any machine for the first 2 or 3 sessions. They would get you do to basic exercises like lunges, squats, etc. because compared to skinny people you have more weight which requires more energy to move from point A to B.
@@Cool-Cat1this. I gained 100 lbs after starting a new medication. I got off it and went to a personal trainer to lose weight and to start exercising again. I wasn't even obese and he wanted me to start small so I can build up to machines as I couldn't exercise for a year because the medicine made me so tired. Thanks to him I lost over 50 lbs so far. No trainer would put a woman like her on a treadmill that fast. Also if she had an injury the trainer would be extremely cautious. Trainers push you but they don't do it if you really need to rest.
Some people can't help it but for those that can need to fix it For example as a child I was extremely skinny and was force fed everday for 6 years causing me to gain a lot of weight. Exactly, I can't imagine letting things get so out of control, I put on weight but I stopped eating tons of biscuits and sweets once reality hit I stopped. I'm not perfect, obviously I stumbled and relapsed into being greedy again on occasion but I broke the daily cycle of being sedentary and stuffing my face. I would sit eating whole packets of biscuits, or boxes of 4-6 donuts, and it was super depressing watching angry red stretch marks appear and my clothes quickly stopped fitting. It was a real eye opener when I went shopping for clothes a few months after eating like that, I felt ashamed when a UK size 18 was tight. I hadn't realised how bad I had gotten because my old clothes I wore daily had grew with me as they were elastic material. Then I would feel fear when I saw groups of teenagers in case they shouted about me being fat, this actually happened in a park one day and was so upsetting. Being fat is a truly miserable existence. I'm not where I want to be yet in terms of my body, I have started lifting weights and have really upped my protein intake while cutting sugar. I want to grow some bigger muscles. I feel sorry for these people to a certain point but it's hard to feel bad for someone who seems so resistant to 100+ years of medical knowledge that being so fat is bad. It's not like you suddenly wake up and realise you're 440lb, it happened over years
The” Non-Fats”, “skinny” or straight sized people are not the reason for your problems, you are the reason for your problems! Yes!! It's fat acceptance, accepting people for who they are, not what they are. It does have a spot in body positivity, especially if they're attempting to better themselves by losing weight or eating healthier. You shouldn't hate your body just because you're big, or something.

How the hell does the second one have anything to do with fat acceptance cringe? She’s talking about financial independence and differences in culture expectations. Yea she’s fat but like can the lady just exist without saying everything she’s saying is fat acceptance. It is pretty common for 18+ adults to still live with their parents
1:16 i feel like this song would have been better if they had more extreme ‘bad stereotypes’ like instead of ‘they could be mean’ put ‘they could rape children’ or instead of ‘they hate dogs’ put ‘they eat people’ and instead of saying ‘they drop litter in the street’ put ‘they drop dismembered body parts in the street’ like thats way more effective
listen man i say you do you if you wanna love someone of the same sex fine if you wanna be trans fine that doesnt concern anyone else but if your size and weight genuinely (consistently) inconveniences others around you somethings gotta change. sexuality, for example, is in a lot of cases scientific and not something you can control. I get that certain body types make it much easier to gain weight than others but thats just something that needs to be overcome. and im not saying if youre slightly overweight that you absolutely have to change but if youre like a literal behemoth you should
and if you dont want to change your body for others, do it for your own sake. pretending that you can be, like, 300 pounds and perfectly healthy is just delusion and you will probably die quicker than you should too.
For me it's not so much the fact they are fat, it's more the annoying denial and excuse making. Being fat is on you and only you and only u can unfat yourself.
Thing is, if they were like chubby, all their points would be valid. It doesnt make you unhealthy, you could actually be better off, all that.. But its almost as if they think being skinny is straight up skin and bones, so unless youre the size they are, youre unhealthy because youre too skiny.. like no, both extremes are bad, but being slightly skinnier and slightly bigger is totally okay, anything beyond in both ways is a concern for health, still shouldnt be socially cut off but yk what i mean
This makes me want to make a TikTok profile, just to tell these gelatinous monsters about caloric restriction. Obesity is a choice, epigenetic 99.9% of the time.

I agree with the second one. She’s the first one of her family to get a masters degree, she pays all her bills . Let her stay. As long as she’s studying, let her stay
1. She trashes her family constantly. 2. She repeatedly brings up that she's the first in her family to get a degree, she does this, again, to express superiority over her family which is proving a roof over her head. 3. If she's living at home, by definition she's not paying all her bills. She does not work. 4. Whether she lives there or not is 100 percent up to her parents. She's an adult. She can start Adulting at any time.
im so done with these people acting like just because we're skinny we're "FaT-pHoBiC" and btw "fat-phobia" isn't even real😒 the literal definition of "phobic" or "phobia" just mean an "immense or irrational fear" so yea if someone was "fat-phobic" that would mean that they were literally scared of fat- 😐like i know that body shaming is real because even skinny people get bullied and put down about their bodies. like people will really be saying that their "too skinny" or have an ED even when they don't and they just wanted to feel confident. So all these people are doing is trying to make themselves the victims and its really sad when i see people like this who are so brainwashed and mentally unstable 🙁i just hope that they'll realise that what they're doing is wrong and try to change for the better🙂
@@kero8136 well technically no its not. unless the person who is "transphobic" is scared of trans people, or the person whos "homophobic" is scared of homosexual people. now im not hating on the lgbt community, im just saying that they shouldn't make up stuff thats not real. it is possible for someone to deeply hate someone for being either of these things, and even bully them for it, but if they were homophobic they would most likely be too scared to even approach any of these people because like i said before, the definition of "phobia" or "phobic" is an "extreme or irrational fear of something" but maybe im wrong maybe there is someone out there who is irrationally scared of people who are apart of the lgbt+ community but unless that is true then no homophobia and transphobia are definitely, positively most certainly not real.
0:22 That's actually true. As a Slavic I can tell you that here is completely normal for 18-19+ year olds who are studying in university to live with their parents. If they live alone, it's most likely due to two reasons: 1. The university is in a different town 2. The 18year old decided that themselves and wanted to be independent That's mostly for students. If they want to work full time, they are more likely to live alone as they are financially stable.
As a Fat person, i hate being fat and im trying so hard to not staying fat I really don’t know how this people lie to themselves about their weight. In my personal experience, I hate it for many reasons, the clothes that I like they’re not in my size, the clothes don’t fit me well, my face is different, as a person who exercises, when I lost weight it’s easier for me to move, i feel so uncomfortable when I gain weight and I have to move, and the most important reasons I don’t want to die young or being 40 with diabetes and the whole list of problems for my weight, I want to be healthy and happy, feeling great with clothes without feeling fat or something, I really hate being fat, these peoples are not real there’s no way that they accept this miserable life were you’re only attractive to people who fetishise fat bodies

In order to relocate 12 hrs away, I needed to keep a balance on my credit card for three months. After 3 months, everything was paid. I didn’t ask my parents for additional financial support to get started, i’m a big girl. I put my big girl pants on and took care of the situation. I have two sons in college at this very moment and they both are aware that this will also take place when they graduate. GROW UP!

English doesn’t come from the US. A lot of these “issues” would be solved if you just got off the internet and lived your lives and stop caring about what other people think. Some exercise and proper nutrition wouldn’t hurt either
Bro tbh i have no idea how tf people are getting kicked out in 18. Like they are studying, how tf parents expect them to find a time for job, a job itself AND a place to live in? Maybe it’s different for me because it’s not natural for my country and nation, but i have no idea how yall Americans do this. Kicking your child out on streets without any money or help is wild lol
@@IACI-n5 For a young person, starting an independent life does not necessarily mean being kicked out. Of course, in our country too, if you study or have a job in the same city where your family lives, it would be foolish to look for a separate residence(until you have your own family or partner). But most often young people already at the age of 16 go to study in another city and start an independent life purely in the context of the household and also a partially financially independent life. Rent apartments with friends or live in student dorms. Many also find a job where they can earn some money. This does not mean that family ties are broken, they just change their form.

At that time, TikTok or social media aren’t popular especially the so called body positivity or fat acceptance moment, so my mom push me to lose weight. It somehow make me feel miserable and I hate working out. But now, I’m a gym rat who skip class to go to the gym and also love my body and myself,
If anyone says anything about fat queerness again, I'm gonna start being straight
Bruh they’re just being delulu
"This is a body positivity space" then they immediately body shame and shut down skinny people
440lbs GOD DAMN
Gluttony is a sin.
4:39 Just look up “obesity disease risks” and “life expectancy of obese people” and you’ll see she’s definitely wrong 💀
How the hell does the second one have anything to do with fat acceptance cringe? She’s talking about financial independence and differences in culture expectations. Yea she’s fat but like can the lady just exist without saying everything she’s saying is fat acceptance. It is pretty common for 18+ adults to still live with their parents
I agree
They’re best before a meal for weight loss.
3:24 this girl isn't cringe at all. Like the way she's saying things is maybe a little annoying but her message is valid.
Thank you for all the motivation to lose weight 😢
Ms piggy always bitching about something
That’s offensive to miss piggy. She’s a model compared to these blubber bags
Miss piggy is a model compared to these 400 lb babies
I lost 55 lbs because of fat acceptance videos
1:16 i feel like this song would have been better if they had more extreme ‘bad stereotypes’ like instead of ‘they could be mean’ put ‘they could rape children’ or instead of ‘they hate dogs’ put ‘they eat people’ and instead of saying ‘they drop litter in the street’ put ‘they drop dismembered body parts in the street’ like thats way more effective
Hahaha
listen man i say you do you if you wanna love someone of the same sex fine if you wanna be trans fine that doesnt concern anyone else but if your size and weight genuinely (consistently) inconveniences others around you somethings gotta change. sexuality, for example, is in a lot of cases scientific and not something you can control.
I just think these are all horrible people that hate their lives.
Okay but that one girl that kept saying "sovereignty" when she meant "autonomy" was funny
Always dancing with no foot movement.
A 10.5-12 minute mile is 100% a jog.
Possibly. Also depends on height. Got super into running but short af XD
@magnarcreed3801 I'm pretty short and it's a jog. In the military, we call that an airborne shuffle.
03:58 being fat is cool until you cant breathe normally anymore
I still can't get over "straight sized"
Preaching to a BLACK WOMAN about oppression and telling her “educate yourself” is WILDDDDD
How?
Because black people are one of the most oppressed and stigmatized individuals, this is coming from a white person
i really hope this all goes away by the time my daughter is old enough to get a smartphone......
Marissa, seeing you has made my feeling of purging even greater. Yikes!
AYO no sis. That ain’t good either. Just figure out what fills you up and doesn’t set off a binge. Maybe bit of weight training (muscle burns more) and no punishing for slight failures.
3:34 girl, you're literally on oxygen😭
These guys are hopeless
Whales have evolved. Not in a good way 💀
I agree with the second one.
@@johnjamele I didn’t know she uses her degrees to degrade her family, this is the first time I’ve seen this lolcow.
im so done with these people acting like just because we're skinny we're "FaT-pHoBiC" and btw "fat-phobia" isn't even real😒 the literal definition of "phobic" or "phobia" just mean an "immense or irrational fear" so yea if someone was "fat-phobic" that would mean that they were literally scared of fat- 😐like i know that body shaming is real because even skinny people get bullied and put down about their bodies. like people will really be saying that their "too skinny" or have an ED even when they don't and they just wanted to feel confident. So all these people are doing is trying to make themselves the victims and its really sad when i see people like this who are so brainwashed and mentally unstable 🙁i just hope that they'll realise that what they're doing is wrong and try to change for the better🙂
...by that logic, homophobia and transphobia also aren't real?
@@kero8136 yes, it's not
Phobia can also mean an immense disgust for something.
@@justarandomuser4395but it is baby ❤ cry about it
who else came here from Radals fat acceptance reaction videos.
0:22 That's actually true. As a Slavic I can tell you that here is completely normal for 18-19+ year olds who are studying in university to live with their parents. If they live alone, it's most likely due to two reasons: 1. The university is in a different town
2. The 18year old decided that themselves and wanted to be independent
That's mostly for students. If they want to work full time, they are more likely to live alone as they are financially stable.
I don't even accept fat on my steak.
my wife's name is Morgan, but I call her More Gains
Listen to how all these people are saying it's okay to be fat are running out of breath after every word
They are in such painfull denial.
Make more please this helps me clean
Ok thanks for motivating me to go to the gym!!!!
6:29 You do realize that the trainers most likely tell everyone what a equipments name is and how to use it just in case you didn't know right?? and no good trainer makes you start off at 5 MPH.
Yeah, that whole bit sounded made up to me
6:30 yep, they treat you as if you're stupid. If I fall, I'll dislocate my kneecap and I'll probably need an ambulance, I always open with that, and they still make it seem like I have to do the ones that have a higher chance of me falling, the system is failing me and I'll start being toxic.
2:20 isn't cringe, it's just love.

0:43 Seriously, cut the f’ing cord. Kids need to grow up! My parents were great, they were willing to pay for my college up to 4 years. A 5th year would have been on my dime, so I made sure to get out within 4 yrs! My parents came out and watched me graduate and as they were about to leave, my mom asked for her credit card back.
GROW UP!

Huge difference between physical health and hateful words, yea racism, mean comments and all that are bad, but we aint sayin it's the worst thing, it's the worst thing for YOUR physical health lol.
5.5/6 is technically a jog. Even though most people when starting it is fast, it is slow.
Is it bad that I watch these to encourage myself to stay on my diet
Pushed up noses hurt me.
You can’t say anything and can’t be mean when it’s a women but as a man we know anything can be said and you can be mean and judge all day🤦🏾♂️ delusion is at the highest of the high
"Straight sized"
Wtf does that even mean
It literally means just not fat, or as they would say "plus sized" I'm saying this as a fat person
i like how at the end, this guy who feed himself all the way from 250 pounds to 440 pounds is telling us to educate ourselves, its like a criminal in prison is telling people from the outside, that committing crime isnt that bad, u get to live and eat for free by gov.
I know right. I can’t stand her. She literally thinks she knows more than the doctors, but then complains when they do’t listen to her
That last one is incredibly annoying and obnoxious, almost as bad as Marissa
4:32 I'm grateful towards Marissa Matthews, her off-putting persona has caused more people to censure the fat acceptance movement than perhaps anyone else
Damn! Angus Young on the t-shirt is looking like a 1:1 model.
Talk about weight loss motivation!!
1) hispanic and white are not mutually exclusive. Hispanic means Spanish is your first language. Spanish people are Hispanic. Spanish people are white. Spanish doesn’t come from Mexico. English doesn’t come from the US. If you mean Latino, then say Latino, Spanish people aren’t Latino but they are Hispanic, they invented the mf language.
2) white does not mean American
3) it is VERY common for multigenerational households in Europe, where yknow, there’s 750 million white people..
Europe≠white. I’ve seen Greeks and Italians darker than a lot of central Asians, like straight up brown. Thanks.
I love watching these, makes me feel good to be BMI compliant.
2:35 bro is NOT 112 lbs
Ironically, these people are trying to encourage people to be fat, yet I’m almost positive more than half their audience is people using them as motivation to LOSE weight 😂
Perhaps when you run out of breath doing a 15 sec tik tok. You may be 200-300 lbs too heavy. Just a thought
I accept that fat isn't good for you.
The 2nd girl lol, she lives very good life in a big bubble 😅
Match these vids with your pre-workout, folks. It helps :)
6:36 has a bad attitude and was definitely the problem.
Walking bakery???....you mean
Walking pancake?
im so thankful for my high metabolism
They can argue sementics and do mental somersaults all they want still doesn't change reality
watching this so i don’t binge eat just because im hungry lol
Aparrently all of you have accepted their obesity.
You’re an adult no obligation….
I agree! Dead is worse than fat!
I can't say I blame them.
Body positive lost it is meaning
Skinny and I hate dogs 😂
That thing has a masters? 🤣
Getting a masters doesn’t require any exercise or dieting.
she's always studying, never working. It's obviously a grift to justify not moving out. She got a degree in counseling but nobody who sees her Tiktoks would ever hire her, which she'll blame on Fatphobia but use as an excuse to remain dependent on the parents she trashes constantly.
im glad this trend is dying cause people need to wake up. but what am I supposed to look up for my inspo now smh?
A lot of these “issues” would be solved if you just got off the internet and lived your lives and stop caring about what other people think. Some exercise and proper nutrition wouldn’t hurt either
0:40 is delusional.
@@IACI-n5we usually don’t??? Most of us that go to college live on campus and come home during the summers.
