You're the first reactor I've seen that totally got what the creators of this show were going for with the whole incest baby story arc. And you're absolutely right - crossing the line is something this type of comedy is FOR! That is, to explore and provoke discussion on controversial topics. The fact that so many people didn't get that is hilarious, because they are actually the butt of the "meta-joke" here (as evidenced by several lines in this episode, like for example when Rick said "we're never gonna live this down, are we?").
Noticed that there were no graves in the back yard, but the driveway is still cracked. This lends more fuel to the wild theory that this is not the Smith family that belongs to Rick C137 and that this entire season is Evil Morty's origin story.
Not sure what other anime Dan Harmon has watched, but he has seen Attack on Titan after a writer/story editor for Rick & Morty convinced him to see it. Dan didn't really get Attack on Titan because he watched it in Japanese without subtitles even though he doesn't really speak it (he has taken a japanese class before though) His friend, Rob Schrab, who wrote the Planetina episode and did a few voices throughout the series also watched Attack on Titan and liked it The ending credit song for boob world is based on the jingle for a camera shop (Mike Crivello's World) which is in the area that Dan & Rob grew up (both are from Wisconsin) (here's the jingle: th-cam.com/video/9zD_CPl1Ig4/w-d-xo.html)

Season 5 is good just it's a bit different, I can see the creators experimenting stuff, changing the formula and I understand why some people are against it. I mean, this episode was fun but very different from usual. It's a ricksy business experimenting this much.

Well, it's my least favorite episode of the season so far, I didn't get hyped about the whole machines thing. I was waiting for like 10 min for the family to realize that they're going into a wall. Also the thing where theres hundred versions of the family that gets together we've already seen multiple times. Rick going too far and starting to do bad is also a thing I've seen enough times. I don't think it's a bad episode, but I don't see what's really original in this one

This episode was certainly better than the killer sperm or turkey episodes, but I still don't know that it lives up to the expectations they set up with the first couple of episodes.

Season 5 in general. Lots of experimenting, changing the formula from the normal, having 2 stories parallel, meeting somewhere. It's... a weird season. I like it but totally understandable if some hates it. It's so divisive and risky doing a show this way.
