    the OS support is not an issue for me cuz of custom ROMs and Poco phones are well supported by the community. I just hate MIUI with their delayed notifications, I don't mind the ads because they gotta make some money but they have to fix the notification issue.

    I'm buying it, I mean I ordered it from flipkart and it hasn't arrived though. What attracts me the most is the snapdragon 7 plus gen 2, which is a very fast and capable processor, almost as fast as snapdragon 8 plus Gen 1, though it lacks behind in GPU, though it's still a great GPU, just not in the level of Adreno 730. Besides snapdragon 7 plus gen 2 SoC, I love the 12 - bit (68B colors) AMOLED display, HDR+, Dolby Vision and 1000 nits brightness, and the bezels are very small, which makes it very good to look at it. The 5,000 mAh battery with 67W charging is also a plus point, although 120W charging would be a nice addition but I'm not complaining about 67 W, too. I wish I could hold it in my hand already

I have used many phone brands but have never used a Xiaomi or Poco, so I am not 100% confident. But this phone looks good and many nice features, I'm curious with the UI though, Realme UI is very simple and not much different from stock android, which I like.

    Interesting.
    I've been using a Mi 9T for 2 years which was absolutely incredible. Then, I have been using Poco X3 pro for 2 years after that. And both were absolutely brilliant. Xiaomi gets a lot of shit for their software and there are reports of people where they had issues after an update. Maybe I'm the only lucky person in the world but this never happened to me.
    On the contrary. My phone fell into the toilet and I had to change a part. Works perfectly again.
    My only issue is the camera because it's actually not very good on this device.

    The issue with this review is your perspective. If you're calling a phone extraordinary... It has to be extraordinary. You can't compare it with below avg phones in this price range and call it extraordinary. Nothing phone 1 has a metal frame and glass back. 2 yr old Samsung A52 had IP68 rating.
    If we move back a bit further than that, Redmi k20 pro had fabulous cameras.
    The smartphone market is garbage right now. Acknowledge that. Don't praise a phone with a shit software extraordinary just because it has a better than avg processor. 30000 rs is no joke for a phone. Be a bit sincere.

    • @MartinMlBanic
      @MartinMlBanic ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can't expect to have everything in this price range. Structural stability of the phone is great even without glass back and metal frame as it doesn't break in two after heavy bending, there have been tests that already proved it. And like 60/70% of the people are using phone cases, so they won't really feel the finish of the phone anyway. When it comes to cameras they are good enough, definitely enough for daily usage when you need to take pics of the documents and stuff. There are better phones for social media, but if you aren't into that crap this will definitely do. IP 68 rating is one thing I wish the phone had, but oh well IP 53 must do. I don't really get why ppl are constantly complaining about the software when it's the only thing modifiable in the modern smartphones. Personally I find MIUI to be smooth, but even if it wasn't Xiaomi is giving you an option to unlock the bootloader and flash whatever ROM you like.

    • @jiffonbuffo
      @jiffonbuffo ปีที่แล้ว

      The 3 old phones you mentioned didn't have SD7+ gen 2 and 1Tb/16gb configuration for the Chinese model. Probably no more support besides the Samsung. And my friend's experience with Samsung is that IP68 doesn't mean anything as it still water damaged his phone despite not getting it wet. Samsung did not honor the warranty lol. You also lose ip68 once you need repair service.
