    I noticed the dye you used has very little bleeding. I hope you will show, as you mentioned, how you use the dye and the one you use on your reed. I love the idea of the broom making as I am a weaver also and the reed is a very classy touch.

      Louise Florida I use Cushing Acid Dye for the reed and we carry a good selection of colors at @people/TheDancingGoatsSoak your reed in a vinegar bath 1st...Have a Dye bath boiling hot, let soak for a bit and then follow up with a salt water bath and then rinse...That will fix the colors fairly well...Cellulose fibers are always a challenge, but the 3 step acid dye process works...will post a video when it warms up a bit!
