I think what people are really asking is how to turn it off permanently. Not how to turn it off untill you shut the car off and park it for the night.

I was a Nissan tech, and we'd have to cut a wire to disable the feature altogether. We'd do this if the customer didn't want the feature or if they kept having battery issues. I'm sure it's similar on these Hondas.

​@@samshim3149Yes but whats the point of the option Auto Idle Stop to not be displayed in Settings? 🙂 Off and On options.

@@dejantodorovski5222 Yeah, it absolutely should be toggle switch with the option to choose the default setting. I think it's supposed to be an environmental thing, but I hate it. It adds key cycles to your car for no reason.

You have to buy an aftermarket kit and install it under the cupholder console between the seats.

This feature is so annoying. What they should have done is have the feature disabled by default and only if you want it then push the button.
