Notice how the entire team looked like a machine. No celebrating, no wasted time, rushing to get the ball back to the line but not in panic. That’s what leadership gives you.

@@snellsman I completely understand "any given Sunday" and also wouldn't just limit it to the NFL. "Any given Saturday" applies as well. A&M beat an undefeated Bama team after losing to Mississippi State and the lose to an LSU team who's not great this year right after. Those "rules" are way more applicable to divisional opponents who play and know one another well (take the Saints regularly giving him a hard time) and rarely apply to the Lions or Jets. 😀

He's the mvp! Honestly this might have been the most impressive drive I've ever seen. With the clock ticking down he never rushes, he's never panicked. He calmly walks to the line directing traffic. Even with the clock ticking down under 25 seconds he knows exactly what he wants. He gives a quick shoulder fake to move the defender an inch and fires a rocket to the only spot it could be thrown. On that drive Tom Brady played the qb position as good as it can possibly be played.

I know it's the Jets, but come on. That was a 93 yard 2 minute drive to take the the win out of the hands of the home team. Every completion was kept inbounds... and Brady didn't even need a single timeout. I mean... come on, man.
There has never been a QB who instills more of that "we're still in this" confidence than Tom Brady. He has that "it." You can't really put your finger on "it." You don't know quite what to call "it." But he has "it." And "it" rubs off on every player on the offense when the game is on the line. It's like he gives everyone a +5 buff to all skills.
He has been a pleasure to witness over the last 20 years or so. He's a whiner at times. He's a prima donna at times. But he is also The GOAT. You can't take that away from him and you can't argue otherwise. He is The GOAT. Period. Down by law. Proven science.

One of the worst defenses, if not the worst defense in the league, whose only goal was to keep there body between the ball and the end zone. No pressure, no scheme. Meat and potatoes prevent. I know I viewed it from the air, but it was easy to see the open man. Progress up the field taking the gimmes, take a long shot to stop the clock, rinse and repeat.
