Simon and Mo as a D pairing next year is gonna be unreal. Their games compliment each other so well and if they can develop some chemistry, they’ll be the Wings top D pairing for the next 10+ years.
Most things say that they do not play in the same line. RW doesn't have the luxury of having these together today or tomorrow, such a decision is further in the future. Personally, I'm very happy to see that Simon really raised Petry's game. However, my criticism to Stevie remains, what exactly does he see in Petry's game that he reportedly "likes", because I myself do not like at all what I see from him and Holl e.i as they both remain a mystery to me.
@@billjohansson88Hes a vet who could help our young guys. Im sure Edvinsson appreciates playing with an experienced defenseman. Getting Petry and having Montreal and Pittsburgh eat most of his contract is a good deal. I think he has 1yr remaining at 1.5 million. his original contract was over 6 million a year, i believe? You can never have enough defenseman. Yzerman learned that from Scotty Bowman. Our young defensemen prospects aren't ready yet. Except Edvinsson. So we have to have some veteran d-man. That would remind me of like a Suter and Weber type pairing. One of the best I’ve ever seen. Besides Lidstrom and Konstantinov or Lidstrom and Rafalski

Seider is way better than both of them defensively and I'm a big Cale fan. Seider has a very well rounded game. Hughes needs to be more physical but he's really good
Great season Mo! 20+ against the other teams’ best every night. Not an easy task. Get this man some help on the blue line!!! Detroit sports media has some world class journalists. Detroit sports media has some terrible journalists.
Love you Mo! You’re my favorite and I hope you’re able to stay a Wing for as long as possible! You had another incredible season and I can’t wait to watch what you do next season:) LGRW!!
@mattmcnick where exactly is holl walking to with 2 more years at 3.4 remaining on his deal? Nobody is touching that deal, and if you buy him out you'll be paying him for the next 4 years.
@@squid3641Buffalo has the top prospect pool in the league and the youngest roster iced the last 2 seasons. Where has that gotten them? If we bring up a bunch of rookies this season the team will almost definitely take a step backwards.
Seidel is gonna be a solid player for a long time, wherever he plays. Right now I see him as a very good one trick pony. Fantastic at abusing himself and blocking LOTS of quality shots ! He needs to improve in bringing the puck up out of their zone , anchoring the point and ripping way more SOG.
He’s definitely not a one trick pony right now man. He is pretty well rounded and clearly a top D in the league. Still a lot of room for offensive improvement but your take is pretty off.
Kid needs an A on his chest and a giant contract in his back pocket
If he doesn't get an A, I'll be mad.
@@LilyCWfan22 me too, it's a Franchise standard ... Larkin is Captain, Perron can keep an A but Chariot's needs to go to Seider

If they play together.. remember the wings defense is still very bad. Have to split the talent up somehow. Walman will be back too

He did great answering their stupid questions.

Seider better get Norris votes this year...
Too bad it’s basically a points race, so it’ll probably be some defensive black hole like Karlsson who wins it again.
Why would he get votes lol, he didn't have a good year

Stevie Y!! Pay the man!! Mo is a major asset to the Wings success going forward! Give him a lengthy 8 year deal and pay him!
I can’t get over them dropping 7 in a row without Larks. 🤷🏻♂️

3 straight years never missed a game yep pay the man fast stevie this man needs to go the distance and retire a redwing! 😊👍
Yes, pay him a reasonable salary
Just got paid
Seider will be winning the Norris trophy in 4 years.
Not unless he figures out a way to score 80-90 points.
A on his jersey with a long term contract . My current fav Wing
This man is a Red Wing pillar. I look forward to when he hoists the cup
You said it Moritz! Another 82 games is huge!
First question…whoever asked it is a clown 🤡
Love his cap!
I like the dudes shirt. That yellow and black flannel looks pretty good.
Bitte komm zurück, Mo!
They simply need more pieces! A goalie and more size to compete next year.
SEIDER SEIDER
Kuflan "how much does it hurt?". Gripping question Ted. 🤦
He’s great but needs to work on getting pucks through on net. Ton of shin pads hit this year

PP1 spot will be open with Gostisbehere leaving, hopefully him or Edvinsson can step into the role

We need more physical play out of you Mo than just stick checks. If you aren't playing a physical game then who will?
