This is so funny especially when Roland said he thought Curt was Indian and Wow Curt kept getting into trouble for fighting. I can’t imagine him fighting he looks so calm, not confrontational at all, such a pretty boy. I guess you can’t judge the book by it’s cover.
I recently saw them in concert. On top of being amazing musicians, they are such hilarious and charming guys! Wish I would had been able to see them in their younger years, but I didn’t even exist yet lol (I was born in 2004.)
Because unlike most songs written now, most of 70s and 80s music doesn't sound like a 12 year old wrote it on Soundtrap. Also no one uses synthesizers for some reason and I think people ran out of things to write about.
They do have a good sense of humor...saw them in Cleveland a few years ago and they made some jokes about the rock and roll hall of fame and sarcastically mentioned how they're still waiting to get in without having to buy a ticket

I think both had the look, Curt was more of a pretty boy and Roland was the cute boy. I also think it depends on who you had a crush on. There's a magazine from the eighties naming Curt Smith as being in the top ten of best looking guys in music. George Michaels was also on the list and there were a couple of guys from Duran Duran on there. Curt came in at number 7.
Am still a Roland fan! Saw them on Songs From the Big Chair tour several times (so many times that they recognized us eventually!) Most recently saw them (dragged my family along) on their 2nd Tipping Point tour. Still very entertaining and love their dry wit! I used to own the vhs version of most of this video.
LOVE TFF! I still LOVE ALL TFF music. The music will be ever so smooth in our ears for all times. Early TFF music to current - all so unique and will be loved forever.
