  • Hi Guys, in this video I will show you how to make a very effective natural deterrent, which is an organic pesticide solution and which will stop caterpillars in their tracks. Say goodbye to unwanted pests without the need for harmful chemicals - it's effective and safe for your plants. Easy to make and relatively cheap. You can also spray the roots of the trees with this solution which will help deter termites and other pests.

The culprit is the aptly named Common Lime butterfly, Papilio demoleus. They look similar to the European swallowtail butterfly. The early instar caterpillars are brown and cream coloured, and look like bird droppings. They rest on the upperside of the leaves and are easy to find if you know what you're looking for.

      Hi Daryl,
@darrylcrump2373 You've nailed it, I've seen both the bird dropping and the larger green monsters that eat a tree in a few days. I thought they were swallow tails with my limited knowledge. Thanks for the comment!
