Brah this game used to scare the shit out of me as a kid. When you kill the wizard how it spazzes out with the flickering graphics and sound was terrifying to me
My dad introduced me to gaming by buying a commodore 64 for us to play together when I was 5-6 years old in 85-86. He killed himself in 87, so the commodore 64 still have a special part in my heart and I am still a gamer today at 40 years old and playing Xbox/switch with my daughter. 😊
Everything same but the years. He bought it in 1990 and killed himself in 2004. I always remember times when we played this together . We also played Boulder Dash and Flimbo's Quest.
@@vrod2144I am sorry to hear that I am not alone. Have you got any kids yourself now? I have 2 daughters now, and even though I have had my own mental problems I would never leave my kids behind.
@@cortanaalbion1328 Boulder Dash wasn't my favourite back then. River Raid and SeaQuest were taking all my tokens. These old arcade games have their own characteristics and taste.
This game is very very very special for me because it's a game i have ever seen a game in the my life :) and i was only 9-10 years old. I was been facsinated. it was a like dream for me. it was 80's and and i said that " what a game, it can't be real." And allready games are in the my life.

Ah, the days when you'd be in the mall near your favorite arcade and all you could hear was a glorious combination of this game, Pacman, Galaxian and Space Invaders. Now it's all fighting and Dance Dance Revolution type games. :(
@@PiroKUSS Of course, but when you went into an arcade back then it wasn't 90% fighting or any other kind of game, it was a wide selection of genres of every type. Not so today.
I missed this game first time round. This is an awesome game that uses your imagination more than most. Coupled with awesome sound effects. I had both Atari and Commodore systems, and this game is, IMHO for the era, one of the stand-out arcade conversions. I need to play this!
I am now 49 Age ,i never forget this game ,LEGEND

Yes, it was very cool game.
@@TAD1hu Absolutely
These sound effect are imprinted in my brain like my mother's voice.
I still have my C64 from 1986, keeping sealed, boxed all year. At every new year, we put it together, and we play Wizard Of Wor.

Hypnotic sounds and graphics, including splash sound/animation. There is no remaking this without understanding the importance of being hypnotic.
My Dad and I used to play for hours on our Commodore 64! Loved this game
You don't even know how I understand you. My Dad is gone ... the memories remain.
The music/audio in this game is superb!

This game was really good on the C64, although I wish the speech would have been included.

How do you select 7 guys? You can in the Arcade by depositing 2 coins, also the Intellivision Home Brew version allows 3 or 7 guys per player.
