I'm very soon to be the registered keeper of a Motability supplied vehicle BUT not the owner. Only property BELONGING to the debtor can be seized. EVEN if that vehicle is your's if it is used for work like any tools it is exempt. THEY are not allowed to do anything that deprives you of or in any way impedes your livelihood. They CAN'T get a Warrant of Entry and can only 'forcibly re-enter' your house if and only if they have first gained peaceful lawful entry, to begin with, and future entry is denied or obstructed. the best way is to have a receipt signed and dated by the seller of the vehicle, who ideally would be the previous registered keeper. If it is a family car, the best thing is register it in your partners name on the log book, and get them to insure it as the principle owner of the vehicle, with you as a named driver. This normally slows them up as why would you register and insure your own vehicle in your partners name? This would have to have been done when the vehicle was bought so the dates on the documents are correct and believable.

Sean, Lukeybill overlooks the fact that as well as signing a driving licence, use of a parking spot has rules attached to it (usually printed on the ticket machine, and on the issued ticket)if you read the rules, then dont agree with the content, dont park in the parking spot, as doing so would tend to show you accept the rules by the action of parking. and then by parking there you accept the terms and pay the bill. It doesnt matter who makes the rules, by parking you have entered a legal agreement you will pay for the priveledge of occupying the parking bay. Breaching these terms (a legal agreement) will only bring enforcement. It has nothing to do with being a "freeman of the land"

The reason for this is the enforcement notice issued by the court will have your address as the site of enforcement, not "anywhere" written on it. The reason this is allowable is that there are many properties that dont have parking within the named property. A vehicle that is not on the proerty (or very close to it) is not allowed to be seized due to it not being held by the owner on the Warrants address.

the best way is to have a receipt signed and dated by the seller of the vehicle, who ideally would be the previous registered keeper. If it is a family car, the best thing is register it in your partners name on the log book, and get them to insure it as the principle owner of the vehicle, with you as a named driver. This normally slows them up as why would you register and insure your own vehicle in your partners name? This would have to have been done when the vehicle was bought so the dates on the documents are correct and believable.

This is from an ab.aministrative court where no judge or justice of the peace is taking responsibility or liability for issuing the warrant. Administrative courts are directly against what the English Constitution stands for.
So if a bailiff with court of admin claims assault etc probably people get arrested and the process starts. That warrant and why he was there would be proven to be unlawful. Especially if previously notified of private property no trespassing.

we all know what we are agreeing to when we sign for loans or when we sign our driving licence- If a person doesnt want to abide by what theyve signed for then dont sign in the first place. The signiture on a driving licence is the driver agreeing to abide by the rules.
Sean, Lukeybill overlooks the fact that as well as signing a driving licence, use of a parking spot has rules attached to it (usually printed on the ticket machine, and on the issued ticket)if you read the rules, then dont agree with the content, dont park in the parking spot, as doing so would tend to show you accept the rules by the action of parking. and then by parking there you accept the terms and pay the bill. It doesnt matter who makes the rules, by parking you have entered a legal agreement you will pay for the priveledge of occupying the parking bay. Breaching these terms (a legal agreement) will only bring enforcement. It has nothing to do with being a "freeman of the land"

Register it to another close family member or friend, then inform your insurance. The Legal owner side of things means nothing to them because when they run DVLA checks, all of their information will relate to the registered keeper, who nine times out of ten, will be the debtor.
do not park the vehicle close to your property. Bailiffs enforcement states that a debtors vehicle MUST be in the vicinity of the house. The reason for this is the enforcement notice issued by the court will have your address as the site of enforcement, not "anywhere" written on it. can anyone give me an opinion on my situation with enforcement agents? i agree with the system for repossessing homes, and settling large debt, but i am under pursuit for unpaid bus lane fines, i could not afford to pay for them because i got cancer and whilst i fought for survival the fees went up and i no longer could work to earn money, i think it is disgusting how parking fines and bus lane fines are criminalised, and the fees increase so fast and drastically, i do not own anything either, i live in student accommodation because i am a university student, i have no car, no tele, the furniture belongs to the accommodation that i rent, what exactly can they do to me over bus lane fines? when i am literally worth nothing, i have no money other than for a roof over my head and food, and i cannot work because i am undergoing chemo, yet im being enforced upon for 400 pounds worth of bus lane ticket fines
