HOOOOOYYYAAAAA!! I love Hoya (next to my orchids). I have about 10 in my collection currently and even though none of them have bloomed yet, their foliage is so beautiful!!
Hahaha hi Wanda, I mainly collect Hoyas for the foliage as well but I can't deny I enjoy the flowers more than I would have thought 😅. I really admire orchids, yet I don't have lots of them. I'm a little scared to get some since so many people struggle with them.
Love your hoya haul! The one you paid $50 for....I do not have that one! Would like to add for sure.....Let me know if your Sigilatis gives you any trouble.....I feel they are a tad different but it could just be me! I also have 2 matilide....a suler splashy and a more green form! I too have issues changing to a soil mix.....I am afraid our hoya wishlist will never get short! Apart from your beautiful hoyas, I really like your editing and cutting of the video - it looks really cool and interesting, very enjoyable to watch 🙂 My favourite hoya is Lisa Australis and Tricolor, then Compacta and Heuschkeliana. However, I always struggle with watering them - I can´t fit my moisture meter into the little pot, so I weight the pot and touch the leaves and guess :-D ... often not quite right 😇
Thank you very much! I really appreciate you noticing the effort I put into my videos, it means a lot! 💚 Heuschkeliana is sooooo cute. I also mostly use weight of the pot and touch of the leaves to determine if I have to water. I share the same fate as you though 😅 Haven't quite figured it out yet.
Hey I am still at the start of collecting my plants and have no hoya yet. My usable windows are all on the south-west side, so I am searching for plants I can put there. Might get some hoyas soon for some window spots (where there isnt cactie already...) btw can you tell us how you did or where you got the plant hangers? I find your arrangements really beautiful and wanna do many hangers as well but struggel with what rope to use, where to hang them and how to arrange my plants over all... I got so much space to fill but no idea how... 😅Greetings from Wiesbaden 🥰
Yes go for it, especially the thick leaved hoyas can totally tolerate some sun. I make all of my hangers myself. I just use Jute rope from the hardware store. It's a little uncomfortable to work with but I just love the aesthetic of it. I'll try to integrate it into a plant care video soon 😉.

I love my Hoyas!!! My favorites are my Hoya Obovata, Hoya Bella Luis Bois, and my Hoya Compactas!!
Good choice Mary. They are all so pretty even though they are all so different. That's what I love most about Hoyas. There is so much variation! 😊
