Touring to Wanaka's Blue Pools and Wanaka Tree. A walk through the rain forest and a long way from Wanaka from hills and lakes around more interesting. The water was so much clearer than we could have imagined.

Been to NZ about 2 weeks ago and have to say that the Wanaka tree is the BIGGEST TOURIST TRAP in New Zealand. Naturally I was not expecting much as its just a tree on a lake - but whether its in the water or 4m away from the waters edge like we saw it doesnt matter. ITS A WASTE OF TIME..............................
