Excellent Video! I consider myself an islander, although I do not live there anymore. I have Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & a brother who do. My Grandparents & Great Grandparents, Great Aunt & Uncles all lived on the island for MANY years. My Grandfather worked for Miller Boat Line for 52 years. My mother was actually born on the island and graduated from PIB School, as well as my brother. My parents used to own a Farm market and built their log home just down the road from the Lime Kiln Dock. It sits next door to my Great Grandparents home. I've seen the island change in so many ways in my 54 years. In fact, I was just at the State Park with my brother On Aug. 8-12th celebrating my Mothers 75th Birthday, in fashion, at Heineman's Winery. Anyway, wanted to Thank you for sharing the island with others in a most fun way, getting out and seeing it in person. It really is more than just a home, or even a place to visit. It's a piece of History that's ever changing. Every person that visits takes a piece of it with them. Next time...you really should go up in Perry's Monument. It's a treat on a real clear day!
