The video is from November of 2022 , so I guess I’ll just have to take your word for it since you think it’s a waste of time . I vaguely remember this video being in reaction to how someone reacted to my video which was in reaction to someone else’s video and now you are reacting to what I said back in 2022 . same people that make comments join evercade etc groups just to say its rubbish and i can play it on my pie or chinesse turd. Im always like your pie is so great you have to come make stupid comments about something you would never buy
Yeah some people have nothing better to do . Sometimes I feel like some of these people want me to try to sell them on Evercade but the console speaks for itself and people like it.
I've got nothing really to add as I'm such a nightmare when it comes to tech, as long as it works for what it's intended I'm a happy chappy. I never really thought about what was in the carts, just love getting new ones every couple of months and loads of games to play, and I love that someone else is choosing the games, so I get things I'd never even think about getting/ downloading etc. and I love that they are fully licensed. But with regards to what's inside the little plastic box, I'm just kinda whatever 😂
Yeah at the end of the day it’s all about the games. I don’t care what’s in a Nintendo switch cart either , I just love to play the games in general , same with Evercade . Some of these folks really overthink it.
The fact the games are on flash memory made me not to buy one. Just glad I looked that up beforehand. If you can't test your product well enough before release to make sure it doesn't need updates, don't even bother making a product at that point
I mean in all fairness Nintendo switch games are also on flash memory, it’s just non-volatile flash memory. The upside to these carts is the card itself is updated , instead of the system and can be taken to other systems with you. This video was made a couple years ago. At this point, I have an ever SD, and now I can back up every game I have in my Evercade collection. A lot of times buying the Indie collections ( indies heroes , mega cat , morph cat , etc on Evercade are far cheaper than buying them individually on modern or classic systems .
A game is a programmed file, however it is stored (cartridge, CD, DVD, Blu-ray, floppy disk, cassette tape, download, etc). What else would they expect? More importantly, has the game been bought or stolen. "You wouldn't steal a handbag..."
Yeah, I’m not sure what their expectation was, they are way over thinking it. I definitely wouldn’t steal a handbag , I might download a car though for the thrill of it 😆. I joke, but 3D printing car parts is becoming a thing.
I told him I’m gonna send him my regular Evercade and a copy of the Oliver twins collection whenever I eventually get an evercade EXP. That’ll teach him a lesson 😆.
I have a super pocker, and I bought 4 cartridges, 3 cartridges started, but the technos arcade 1 cartridge is not reading. Does anyone know what can it be? They told me about updating the cartridge and the game, is that it?
I would recommend first cleaning the contacts ( I know, it sounds crazy since these things are so new, but I did that once and it actually worked). If you updated the cartridge and it still doesn’t work, I would contact your retailer who you bought it from and see if they’ll send a replacement. If they won’t help you, I would recommend contacting Blaze Entertainment’s customer support, and explain why that it’s not working and that you’ve done all the other things and they should send you a replacement ( if they still have some available).
If the cart registers in your super pocket, it should give you a prompt to update. All I would use is a clean Q-tip. I wouldn’t even put anything on it ( that’s what I did).
This shouldn’t have to be said ( but people keep proving other wise ) please watch the video before commenting. And if you’re going to “ WeLL aCkShuALLy” me , you’re getting blocked , with extreme prejudice. It should be clear as day that the point of this video is to not be “THAT GUY.” Nobody likes that guy, don’t be that guy.
Unfortunately I have seen a cartridge loading problem eradicated by a firmware update. My c64 Evercade cartridge had a game load problem. The pinouts of flash memory only last about 2-5 years maybe. Imo maybe these Evercade cartridge board won't last as long as Atari or Sega master system board cartridges.
I wouldn’t consider that unfortunate all, the alternative is the games don’t work right. I would say it’s more likely they last 10 years tops. Yeah that’s a pretty good synopsis of my video,These things weren’t design to last forever and they are not like NES carts at all as I said in my video. I have three NES carts in my collection that don’t work at all and are unrepairable. That’s just how life is, nothing lasts forever, especially not physical games.
Your correct in what you say. However, if someone buys a copywrite for games which been available for free online since 1995 ..that’s their own problem. You can build amazing Mame arcade machines for little money with everything. The fact they are available and have been for free for 25+ years is not my issue or anyone else’s.
