Loads of patches available but best thing to do to avoid is. NEVER LOOK DOWN focus on the horizon. Try to be the driver of the boat. Get your GoPro set up before boarding because as soon as you look down to fiddle with it, it’s game over.
Dramamine for me. 4 hour intervals take the max amount two at the shortest intervals. Make sure to start it before you head out. So you have one dose in you before getting on the boat. The second dose should be right when you start to boat or earlier. Just make sure to have 1 dose ahead of when you start to go out. Also when traveling on the water keep your eyes on the horizon nothing else.

I'm from Borneo ( Sabah ).. and a grown up in fisherman village. For first timer who got seasick when ever we go to net fishing, our uncle will trow that dude to the sea...let him stay for a few minutes to reduce hangover. it's always works 😂.. and please don't ever try this method if you know your friends/ family is not a good swimmer
i agree. we do that in Micronesia as well. but it's mostly kids that get sea sick so they're always forced to jump in the water fish. that's the key. staying on the rocking boat is not going to help.
Yeah I live on mainland and I never get sick but one time I did charter with my dads on Lake Michigan and to be safe I took Dramamine and guess what back at the cabin puke 🤮 🤢 time. It was little narly with some rollers but I wasnt like worried but maybe with nervousness of hoping for good trip too it messed with me. Not sure I’d take again
@@hawaiihammahs oh wow I didn't know it was that far by plane. I always assumed you could go by boat from island to island, within minutes, or a hour at the least.
Go to doc. Ask for Scopalamine prescription. Patch goes behind your ear on your neck. I've barfed my way through 3 day and a half sportfishing trips on big diesel exhaust smelling 9 knots rolling boats down to mex. I finally quit trying to use Dramamine, Bromine, Ginger, Crackers, Staring at the horizon, Getting fresh air, never going below deck.....none of that ever worked. Now that I use the patch....I'm dancing on the boat while others are miserable. HAhahahahahha.
@@hawaiihammahs I’ll be honest I’ve never tried it. I don’t usually spear off a boat and I don’t usually get seasick shore diving. I’m sure it’s work with a hood on for sure. The biggest problem with the patch is that it is a vasodialator…what does that mean? You have to wash your hands off really well after applying. What happens a lot of the time is guys go touch it or scratch it, then they run their eyes and their pupil(s) get huge like when you’re in the dark. It’s no biggie at night…but if your in the sun on a boat deck and rub your eyes…those hug dilated pupils let a lot of light in😂😂. Just gotta remember not to mess w it once it’s on. It’s friggin insane how well it works though.

All the sea sickness meds made him more queasy too he's told me. Check it out or try to research wristbands the cure sea sickness. Loving the videos, hoping you can keep them up, your content is rad AF!
Liked and subscribed. The quality on your videos in insane. Thanks for sharing this. I am getting more and more into spearfishing. You're amazing dude!
🤣
i agree. we do that in Micronesia as well. but it's mostly kids that get sea sick so they're always forced to jump in the water fish. that's the key. staying on the rocking boat is not going to help.
Yeah I won’t be taking it again haha
My question is why fly to the next island? Wouldnt the trip be like 15 minutes long? At: 52:10 😂🎉
It’s like an hour trip haha
Same. Scopolamine works.
No way that sounds like the one!! You spearfish on it to?
The patch makes some people drowsy and sluggish too tho
Scope for the win!
Amazing video!
💚🤙🏽
Brah our friend showed us Bonine. That stuff is none drowsy. I get sea sick a lot but that thing has saved me the last three times I remembered to take it 😂
Might have to try that one

Patiently waiting for a new spearfishing trip video
Kind of you to chum the fish up for your friends 😂. On a real note, that sucks that you weren't feeling well and missed out on some epic action 😢
Yeah still had an awesome time… Now that it’s over lol
I take Meclizine (stronger dramamin that's prescribed) but I just try to stay far away from the boats. 😂
Yeah I’m not to thrilled about going on a boat again 😂
2m20s that’s crazy! You’re a machine
Just got lucky haha 🤙🏽🤙🏽

Hey Jason, sorry ur feeling so bad on this trip. I have something that will help u get over Seasickness within an hour. It's called "Po Chai Pills. Go to local Chinese market or Chinatown Herb Store, Herb store will have it, Market most likely will have it. It works on (Food Poisoning), (Over intoxication).
I’ll have to try that one out!
Some solid homies right there, always fking around talking 💩 to each other but when 💩 hits the fan they come together as 1 like Voltron 🤙🏼 thanks for the video it was 🔥

Bro...the secret formula for sea sick is to alway pack the jar Japanese sushi and eat a few slices as needed, trust me i been dealing w/sea sick for over 10 years and finally found the secret... any kind of ginger will help, ginger snap, ginger ale, etc but the sushi ginger works best
lmk
I’ll have to try that
If you're gonna take Dramamine, take it the night before you go out. It'll still be in your system in the morning, but without the vomiting, dry heaves, and wanting to pass TF out.
Great job and awesome video
💚🤙🏽
