Hi Arty (and the TTF team) - this is superb content, been following you for a few weeks and ploughing through your vids. Very clear explanations and easy to follow analysis that I have been practicing in my backtests. I’ve been learning for a month now and noticing that in this short space of time that my views and tactics are beginning to change to my advantage where I have been placing winning trades in a demo account (a few losses as well) I’m hitting the charts between 1 to 2hrs a day (between my day job) and loving the journey. I was kinda lucky, but not with markets xD my leg was broken so i had like 6-8 hours a day for last 1.5yrs. and i was learning, one strategy than another. Everything on small ACC. Risking 1% (again lucky that i found Arty). And at some point i realized. That... Its possible, but it needs even more effort/knowledge. But watching this video is scarry :D i had to think about it, than realized that actually im so much time into it. Your video's are great, just that true is scarry. When starting own business we need also huge amount of time to build everything. But... Even when i worked. I had my goals. Wanted to be a Carpenter. 4days at my 12hours regular work. And THAN 4 days for about 8-12h building my workshop. No day off. No execuses. You can be profitable even 4 yrs from now... Or be at the same spot 4 yrs later. Its up to You.

I’ve been paper trading FX for nearly two years and still yet to make $500 profit!!! Blowing up more accounts than I can remember. Watched most of your videos and still get stopped out on 70% of trades.
I just think TradingView is a total wast of time with a small account. I start with $1,000 looking for 16 pips TP 8 pip SL risk 2% . I look for the opportunity’s following trends on the 21,50 & 200 look for “big ass candles, place a trade and with in minutes the trend just does the opposite! SL hit 😖 then the trend goes the way of the trade. Factor in commissions to the paper trading wins and barely cover the cost of taking a position in the first place.

💯!!!… Gotta put that screen time in and you’re dead on with the 5-8hrs a day of time you have to be willing to put in. IF you want to learn it relatively quickly. If you’re working full-time, then it may take you longer but there is no getting around the screen time. Sitting there watching the market and not even trading. Just watching live price action. Then breaking the charts down afterwards and looking at how they play off previous price levels. And if it wasn’t a level from that day that explains why a stock hit resistance or support, then keep looking left and you WILL find the answer. There is almost always a previous area of price consolidation, no matter how minor, that explains why the current price behaved like it did… and over time, you will get a feel for which ones you should make note of on your chart and which ones to ignore.

I'm in the process of learning Forex day trading. The part I love the most is that I can practice almost 24/7. I live on the west coast of Us and some of my best trades happen at 11 o'clock at night when London opens. Most of the time by 9 or so in the morning, the action is over for a good part of the day (or so it seems to me). Being able to trade at night has made this much more of a possibility for me. I love your videos!

How do you work out position size quickly while trading on lower time frames ? By the time you get how big a stop loss to apply, price may has already passed your entry position.

Hello, I have a question about losses. If your goal is 20 pips per day. What is the maximum amount of trades you will take in one trading day? If you have a loss, do you attempt to get your losses back that same day? If you goal is 20 pips do you try for 30 pips your next trade to make up for your loss? (I do understand only if a 30 pip target is available) I hope this question makes sense?

Hi Arty, first of all tank you for all the great videos, really appreciated. Using former price actions and using its price actions and levels of resistance and support is crucial for future trades. So, how would I analyse best if there are no former price actions because it's just beyond an all time high (or low). Best example is GC/xauusd right now. There is no cyclical to look back on currently. Relaying just on patterns and rsi? Maybe it would be a good topic for one of your upcoming videos 😊 Cheers
