Taking the screenshots of my trade has helped me so much. My only suggestion would be to take one when you enter the trade (highlighting all confluences), then take one when the trade has closed. This helps you understand why the trade ended as a profit/loss/breakeven even more because you can see exactly what data you had when you decided to place the trade.

One of the most SOLID advices EVER: keep a journal of your trades, catalog them, and analyze them. What went well, what did not go well.
BUT WAIT!! WAY THE HECK MORE IMPORTANT STILL: do NOT repeat your mistakes. Murder emotions inside you, pangs of greed or fear. Become a binary code machine - 1's and 0's. Execute like an EA. Stick to rules. Do not stretch them, make exceptions, reinterpret them.
It's either 1 or 0. There's no sorta 1 but maybe 0, or visa versa. Execute the strategery!! Improve it, and keep executing according to its clearly defined tenets and parameters.
You can certainly adjust the rules of the strategy in a "legislative session", as you analyze your W/L log over the weekend. If it is evident that something can be improved probabilisticly, based on ample trading data.
But NEVER exempt yourself from the most current set of developed rules as the real trade is playing out. That's just emotions tempting you.

I want to thank you Arty for all your videos! After 9 months of trying I have successfully blown up my account many times. My savings is gone. Stupid, I know. I just can't get it and I have studied HARD! I always get taken out no matter what I do. I SWEAR every trade I make acts like I'm the VWAP....candles always shoot to my stop loss and I'm out. It's ridiculous. Death by 1,000 cuts many times. My problem is I never give up, but I should have much much sooner. This isn't for me but I wanted it to be. I kept studying and learning and watching every day, too many hours a day. It just never worked. I can't possibly lose this much, but I did. I wanted to thank you for all your work and time you spend teaching others...the best channel out there!

3:33 You could try Ment Funding as they don't have minimum trading days or making a set target profit each month. Just don't lose 5% of funded money, put a stop loss in each trade and trade at least once in 30 days. You could complete their challenge in a day and get funded the next day. but DYOR too
It's my personal preference not to use funded account. lots of trader do.

I was hoping you would say the secret is to have proper risk management, to keep a journal, to keep emotion out of it, to only take the good trades and don't feel like you need to trade every day, to not revenge trade but to take a min if you're in a slump, etc. You know, all the things my man Arty taught me. As a former boxer now part time trader, I have come to realize that trading is so similar to boxing.....everyone has a strategy until they get socked in the face:) Its so much about mindset; Can you pull that trigger when you see that set up or will you suffer from analysis paralysis? After a loss...believe me....if you trade, you will take losses, do you fold or do you use it as a learning experience? 90% of trading is psychology, the other 10% is studying/learning.....which never ends!

As always your video is great and confirmed my assumptions about trading analysis. I realized how risk management is important when use risk/reward ratio (RRR) >= 2. However, winrate can be very tricky. 50 percent wr means 5 loses and 5 win per 10 attempts and it's fine for RRR = 2. For higher number of positions (e.g. 20) for the same winrate we can suffer for example 10 loses one by one from the point of view of statistics, so it is possible to ruin your account even if you have something like 70% wr for RRR=2. Eventually we must take into account maximal number of consecutive losses when backtesting. This parameter is definitely helpful to optimize Your trading strategy. Greetings from Poland ;)

With a $400,000 dollar account, a trader should very easily profit $2,000 per day... That is only 1/2% per day, (half of a percent) usually done within half hour. Then I get on with my day. That is my daily target.

Rule number 1 of investing is don’t lose money, which index funds get an A+ for. Most people do not have the the knowledge, time, or stomach to develop and hold a diversified portfolio that outperforms the market.
I did that by setting a stop loss. Coinbase stop loss does not work. After the fact Coinbase wanted proof lol. I tried it recently and the price dropped below the stop loss so coinbase is not a good place really to trade. Or that is my assumption.

I fell like I have to say something to You, Arty - because I'm living in Poland :P At 11:30 You are SOOO much right about polish currency, You don't even probably know :) $3000 in a month is about 13500 PLN. Standard monthly payment is around 4000-5000PLN gross income, so You have to pay around 24% of that to government, the rest of that is for paying house mortage or car loans, gas/power, food and clothes, and MAYBE some cinema or wine. That $3000 would give 80% of people of Poland a TOTAL financial independence (if You have a home to live in and when You dont have any loans or mortages) - for example You can take Your all family for 2-week all-inclusive holidays in Greece/Egipt, so literally You could have holidays 12 times in 1 year. Or imagine that - if You gain $3000 for 36 months/3 years, that give a $108000, that is around 480000 PLN, and THAT is the amount of money that allow You to live freely (paying only for food, home, gas, clothes, etc) for over 100 years in a row... So basically THIS is the power of 20 pips per trade. Damn.......

Have you had a look at the new 5%ers freestyle prop trading account and if that might be better wrt profit targets as they dont have a profit target on their new program? I am interested in prop trading since I do not have enough money of my own to make a living out of trading. Same as you I do not like set profit tagets with a set time limit as this messes with my trading psychology and forces me to take trades i am not completely sure of just to meet the targets. Would love to hear your opinion on this? Would you consider trying the freestyle account through the 5%ers and making a video of your progress? I don`t get it man. I have been watching your videos in the past and really enjoyed them because you seem very competent. Why do you keep trading retail though? I mean you made a few videos about institunial trading and Wyckoff, so you gotta know about SMC and its potential. However you still decide to keep working with your indicators and S&R. Can you explain that to me, pls. :)
it all depends on what his comfortable with in trading dude just because you learned about SMC doesn't mean it will apply to him or others I for one loves moving average indicators than SMC even though I was interested about it for quite sometime.
You do realize you can be profitable with retail and it’s 10x easier than institutional right?? I trade ICT and love getting 1: 10 trades but I’d say 99% of even institutional concept traders still can only get 1:3 at most so why not trade retail since it’s wayyy less stressful? Oh and by the way Wyckoff is just as accurate as retail. Both can be 80-85% accurate.
I’ve been trading for years and was profitable at retail and now profitable with ICT so I’ve seen both sides and it’s literally all about risk management because traders are gonna get emotional and make mistakes

Only Smc it's a limitation. Keep the Smc in mind and trade with oscillators like rsi acc/distr and smma cross it's better. Only my opinion
