- My friend sent me his LDT HK416D gelblaster to repair, here's the teardown, repair and re-assembly.
The issue was a broken return spring.

I just re did a gearbox added a The Real Deal airsoft cylinder head and luckily the nozzel fit perfectly, its so quiet with a brushless motor pusing 280/290 fps... fun blasters just wish it had the metal gearbox like the Sinjun Hk416C

Am I missing something? I can not get the stock off mine that easily.
The screw holding it on is a pain to get to. Even worse getting it back on.
FYI the body pins a captured (don't require you to remove them).
Can I change the string without takingout the gearbox? I mean just takeout the buttstock and the tube
Nope, need to take the gearbox out. Do not need to take the gearbox apart though, so it's still a fairly straightforward exercise.
1.2 spring is 210- 260 fps
1.3 spring is 260 - 310 fps
1.4 spring is 300 fps plus

My hk416D only has a range of 3m and I can feel air at the nossle coming out and still has the same fire rate I haven’t changed gels, mags or anything just suddenly stopped shooting as normal. What could the problem be?
The same as what's in this video broken return spring inside the gearbox. These 416s have a habit of building moisture in the corner of the gearbox near the return spring, so worthwile adding some anti-rust while you're in there.
When I Shoot mine it makes a motor sound and started smoking
