Does the best of nurgle not do the tail attack if you go behind him close up? Is it only if you approach from behind rather than rotate round

Burgle only does the vom attack in a 1v1 and will never melee as long as a second player doesn't come close

What blessings do you use on the flamer. Do you do armour melting or everlasting flames

I always use penetrating flame/blaze away with carapace/unyielding
If you run dueling sword you can safely drop pen flame and cara for other picks if you prefer :p
