I never liked John Cena or CM Punk, I get that I was "supposed" to like them, but I just didn't. Christian and Edge we're awesome tag and solos.
I've always said regal was a true hof contender I believe it was hhh who said about how good he was about doing the right thing for the show yet back up his jokes with real talent. I loved his fued with y2j
What about goldust , Cody Rhodes , Scott Hall , Shelton Benjamin , Bobby lashley , ted debiasè jr , David otunga , Big E , Jeff Hardy , Sheamus
Feel for Dolph Zigler, dudes amazing and deserves a shot with the title. Hes better than Miz and miz has had it twice now
Bob Holly. Should've at least had a IC title run and feud with Jarrett in 95.
Add Rick Martel to the list too. In Martel's case, that Model gimmick was over and could've had a cool feud with Bret Hart over the title.
William Regal is one of the few people who has gotten better when I rewatch old episodes
Shelton Benjamin. Dude had too much skill and athleticism to not be given a push
How about:
1. Ricochet
2. Shinsuke Nakamura
3. Bobby Roode
4. Damian Sandow
5. Baron Corbin
6. Tye Dillinger
7. Wade Barret
8. Sami Zayn
9. Mickie James
10. Shelton Benjamin
Shinsuke Nakamura also might be one of the guy. He connect with people really good with his entrance and charisma, which is something we never see quite long time at professional wrestling. The wrestlemania entrance is glorious. not to mention his in ring ability and great run at NXT. Not to mention people know who he is outside WWE, someone who has Antonio Inoki as his mentor, one of biggest star at NJPW and one of the best in the world. WWE simply wasted him.
It bothers me Ziggler never got the run he deserved. He had the cash in and he won the 1v3 at survivor series after being beaten to a pulp and getting a little help from Sting. He was set up to be the guy, and with Shawn Michaels gone, Ziggler is the best seller in the company.
7:00 Jericho was NOT happy when he was told he'd be going under to Fandango lol He was furious and did NOT want to do it at all. But it ended up being good and he enjoyed it.
Damn, half this list is made of of my all time favourites.
You forgot about Chavo Guerrero. Check out his shoot interview
Dolph Ziggler is a hall of famer
2x world champion
2x us champion
6x intercontinental champion
Won money in the bank and Cash in money in the bank successfully
Soul Survivor in Survivor series
Robert Roode, Rusev (Miro), Cody Rhodes, Sean O' Haire, DDP, Mike Awesome just off the top of my head
Awesome was a great worker, but beyond awful on the mic.
You could KINDA put Undertaker here too. He was so good that he didn't need a belt, so never really had a long run with it.
Giant Gonzalez, Great Khali, GobbledyGooker, Fake Undertaker. These names should all be on this list.
Funny how it doesn’t specify WWE in the title
Technically, Gail Kim was never eliminated.
the fact that zack ryder needed one more title to become a grand slam
I'd love to see samoa joe come back challenge roman for the head of the table to be the only true tribal chief
Joe not apart of the Anoa'i or Fatu family. He's kinda an outsider Samoan wrestler.
Damn it scratch...declaring**
Yea FUCKIN CESARO they legit made him stop doing the swing because it got him cheers even as a heel
Dolly Ziggler takes the best bumps
When I saw "too good" I was thinking technically so Dean Malenko came to mind. There are so many that could make this list though. Rick Rude was amazing back in the day. Kerry Von Erich was not given what he deserved in the WWF/E (much like Dusty). Dustin Rhodes was another one. You could do 100 wrestlers and I'm not sure it would be enough.
I'm not remotely surprised that Shawn Michaels & Triple H tried to bury CM Punk early on in his career & even when he got over on his own... his real disdain for them both makes total sense now...
Great list. But I definitely would have included Curt Hennig.
WHERE IS MUHAMMAD HASSAN. He was so good he drew nuclear heat
Quite literally
@Hell Kaiser that is the best comment I have ever seen
Hassan was sooo good
Nuclear like the weapons, hiding in Iraq!
That would make the most sense.
He would probably personally disagree with me, but my vote goes to George the Animal Steele. He was so over that he never got a run at a title. Having spoken to him about that, he told me that he was never in it for a title. That completely changed my view of workers.
