This came unexpectedly right after I had stumbled upon Massive Attack's Unfinished Sympathy for the first time in my life. What a song and what a video! Life as a flow through a dense means: difficult and far from harmonious, but worth it. Made me feel one with humanity. Thanks for your great tune and for its very appropriate title, Norman! Life is right here, right now!
An absolutely incredible track. The strings are indeed the chef's kiss within the song. Especially juxtapose with the thunderous beat. Still remains as one (of many) of mine and my son’s favorite from FBS.
Great sample, great build up, great vibe. Always loved the scale having the 6th and 7th intervals. Heard this song when I was a kid. I'm 33 this week and I still hear it while working out specially. Much love from Ecuador
absolutely magical track... Besides the strings I love how the sitar blends in with the drums... That is also a beautiful symphony. I would describe it as sparkling...
just right. i'm 60 years old and heard the song for the first time when i was 12. it fascinated me even then. last track from the album "james gang rides again"
I first heard right here right now on a trailer for the virgin suicides when I was a young teenager. Absolutely fascinated me but I knew I would never get to watch the movie or listen to the song. I was a part of the IFB (an extreme Christian fundamentalist movement) so both were scandalous. I have since left the IFB and while the movie was ok, I still love this song.
Not what I would have expected. I myself always just assumed that the inspiration was 'What Time is Love' [Pure Trance] by The KLF, especially given Fatboy Slim's involvement with Acid House. To me those tracks belong in the same category: the soundtrack to the swirling maelstrom of armageddon.
I really like the Redanka Mix of the track. I also have a remix on vinil, cant really tell you the name, but its great too. The original has the BEST video clip to it ever though:]

The " right here right now" line is from a scene in a film called strange days,
The limo driver female friend, says it,
I just watched this movie and recognized the sample immediately! Funny, how he doesn't mention this part! Great movie and song btw!
O cara !!
