Luke.....Curious when you are going to do the Wolverine and if you would compare it to this Axiom Pearl and Trend 2. Really curious to see how they would all compare.
Still waiting on the balls to get here, probably won't be this weekend but maybe next weekend. I'm not sure it makes a ton of sense to compare it to the Axiom Pearl, and they probably won't want me to anyway since it's been discontinued, but if I throw the ball and the comparison makes sense, then I'll figure out some angle to work and get it done! If nothing else, when the review shows up, just post the question again and I can at least give you an answer.
Love this ball and your reviews on it are what sold me. Got my 3rd ever 700 series and is my first ball out of bag everytime I bowl. Keep up the great reviews.
Hi Luke! I currently use an electrify solid. I'm a 2 handed bowler, 13mph avg speed, avg rev rate and play house shots exclusively. I'm looking to add a second ball to my bag. I've been interested in the zen and the axiom pearl. Do you have any recommendations between the two of them? Is there an alternative ball you think I should look into? Thank you for reading!
Hard to miss with the Zen, and the Axiom Pearl has actually been discontinued for a while now. Wolverine Dark Moss would be a really good one to look at too.
Ok arsenal question THS bag P2,P3 Hustle ink, other bag normally used for building a Sport shot bag is Gravity Evolve, Omega Crux and Idol Pearl. Out of the new Storm/Roto releases which would you recommend. I've been considering the Axiom pearl, Trend or finally trying a urathane with the fast pitch. 2 hander 17mph 450-500 rpm. Or am I totally off base here and could use something like the IQ nano pearl.
Probably could use something like the Nano Pearl, the Axiom Pearl and Trend is going to play right on top of the Idol Pearl and P3, the Nano Pearl is a different look from the other stuff you have.
Thanks Luke, yea figured based off of the reviews it would create some overlap. I got a giftcard as a wedding gift to the proshop so trying to fill in some gaps, but that nano pearl always draws me in. I always have loved the Nano covers haha. Appreciate the feedback as always.
Good evening Mr Rosdahl 🎳 I just got a proton physix and my PAP is 4 1/2 by 1... I'm getting an axiom pearl to compliment the PPhysix ... What layout do you recommend for a typical league house shot this one being heavy oil about 38 ft down? Open to all suggestions and happy bowling Jon in MN
Hey! There's so much that goes into it and so much I need to know that it kind of makes it a crapshoot for me to recommend any layouts to anyone, it's probably best if you go talk to your pro shop and/or someone that knows your game and the conditions to help out with that.
Really like how you compared this with the Trend, as I was thinking of getting an Axiom Pearl since the price has come down, but hearing what you said about the Trend (shape, roll) and seeing the difference makes me feel even better about having a Trend and not gobbling up an Axiom Pearl unnecessarily.
Greetings Mr Luke, I currently will build my arsenal from scratch I am planning to buy a phaze 2 and as the second one I am between an Idol pearl or the trend which one will you say is more versatile and all around better? I bowl on medium and long sport patterns
Connor Bowling ball review Yes and no, yes because it’s smoother and pretty controllable, no because it’s pretty strong. It depends on the conditions really
hey luke. I have an axiom pearl already and i just got a new phaze 3 for free so is there going to be overlap or is there a spot for both in a 6 ball bag
Hi Luke, I'm behind a bit but could you tell me how the axiom pearl would compare to the No Rules Pearl i still have, any help appreciated, thx , cheers!
Actually fairly similar . . the No Rules Pearl is an asym, but it was a more controllable one, like a shiny Omega Crux. The Axiom Pearl is symmetric, but pretty strong for a symmetric ball, so they're quite close now that I think about it.
Will Murphy Eh, I don’t think so. Lol they come out too fast and so I really have to pick and choose. I only do overseas reviews for my Patreon crowd now though
I was just coming here to say this. People thought this ball was overlooked when the fact is the Zen is 100x better than this ball. AxPearl is very hook stop. Especially if you’re up the back like I am.
Luke, I just about to get my Axiom when my PSO told me it got sanded. I was confused because I knew it's already sanded. Turns out he meant he dropped it in sand and now it's lost. Will the Axiom Pearl be a good enough replacement that I won't even think about my Axiom? My PSO is on speaker phone as I type this and I'm curious if I can tell him Hakuna Matata.
I have that ball on order and waiting for it to hopefully come in next week since I know a guy who can get the VIP balls early. With that being said, what are the comparisons between this ball and the IQ tour emerald?
Arsenal includes Crux Prime, Hyper Cell Fused, Phaze 3, and Hyroad X. Don’t have any pearl balls and just wondering if the Axiom Pearl would be a good addition or recommend something else.
The Axiom would have to fit as your benchmark type ball on a sport pattern, but it will be on the strong side. At the same surface as the P3, the axiom will have a good amount of overlap. With the axiom as the benchmark, you can ball up to the prime and the fused and then ball down to the P3 (@3000+ or with shine) and the hyroad x.
You already have some stronger shiny stuff though, the P3 actually ACTS like a Pearl, and cover designators don't always tell the whole story. I think you'd be better adding an IQ Tour Solid or Phaze 2 in there actually.
I was starting to go downhill pretty quickly when that ball came out, injury wise, so my memories aren't too fond of it... BUT, the reds and blues look more contrasted on this ball. And there's really nothing better than the Axiom logo. Really, really nice design, all around.
"may the SPARES be with you!" 😉 and even though you've turned to the "wrong" side, ure still mah guy. ok, just between you and me... ima ~210 avg bowler, stroker style, 16mph, blahblahblah. it seems that ALL the higher avg bowlers in my leagues slide foot turns OUT as they slide; mine always turns IN, when you bowl righty i've noticed in your videos that your slide foot turns out as well which keeps you parallel to the foul. short story long, any drills to correct my flaw. KEEP THE KNOWLEDGE FLOWING
I've never paid too much attention to mechanical specifics, if it's something that's consistent and effective, I'll keep doing it. Lots of pros now do lots of stuff "wrong," but they do it effectively and consistently. Ultimately, the only "right" thing is staying behind the line and knocking the pins down, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Do you have many sliding issues or is it just something that's bugging you mentally??
Thank you for the Marvel Pearl comparison. I've regretted not getting one of those for a long time, and it looks like the Axiom Pearl could potentially fill that role.
Hey Luke, so you and me already talked about this, as you know I'm looking for a replacement for my SON!Q. Originally I was set on the Trend as they looked similar, but then Storm introduces this into the picture. So now I want to ask, what is the better replacement for the SON!Q, Axiom Pearl or the Trend?
That’s tough, Axiom Pearl is earlier and smoother like the Son!Q, but a few boards stronger. The Trend has the same cover, but a weaker core, so the hook potential is similar, but the shape isn’t. Depends on what you’re after
Great ball review, man. Your work has put other reviewers on notice. Keep the format and keep up the good work. Question - Would you have a Axiom Pearl and a more shiny !Q Tour Nano Pearl in the same bag? Thanks!
Good thing I was planning on waiting for the Axiom Pearl. I decided to take your advice on the Nuclear Cell and Rubicon, which will arrive to my arsenal next week! Luke, I'll let you know how they work for me! 👍🎳💪
Just shot my 3rd 300 with this ball and the 1st since 1999.
Just shot My highest sanctioned League series with the axiom pearl 775.

How would this compare to a duo?
This is a little smoother and weaker, but fairly similar shape.
Great video man !!
Thanks! You keep up what you're doing too!
Luke Rosdahl Def will man !
Can an Axiom Pearl and Marvel Pearl be in the same bag?
That’d be a lot of overlap, Axiom Pearl is a bit stronger but they’re so close it’d be hard to notice a difference for most people
Love this ball and your reviews on it are what sold me. Got my 3rd ever 700 series and is my first ball out of bag everytime I bowl. Keep up the great reviews.
Just shot My highest sanctioned League series of 775 with this ball. I just missed an 800 by 1 strike.
One of my favorite pieces! Very heavy rolling pearl with a ton of continuation.

Where does this fit in the bag numbers wise?
King Jae I’ve actually got that video coming out tomorrow or Monday, just need to finish it up!

This is my next ball
Would you Polish the ball after some use? This is my first pearl ball
Not necessarily, it’ll stay shiny
Greetings Mr Luke, I currently will build my arsenal from scratch I am planning to buy a phaze 2 and as the second one I am between an Idol pearl or the trend which one will you say is more versatile and all around better? I bowl on medium and long sport patterns
Trend and Idol Pearl are just minor shape differences really, Trend is probably more versatile though
Do you think this ball would be good for high revrates
Connor Bowling ball review Yes and no, yes because it’s smoother and pretty controllable, no because it’s pretty strong. It depends on the conditions really
Wondering if I'll a get similar ball motion if I polished my Axiom to the same 1500 + polish of the pearl. Similar but still a tad sooner perhaps?
Earlier and smoother still with a shiny Axiom vs the Pearl, but the look on the lane feels pretty similar.
hey luke. I have an axiom pearl already and i just got a new phaze 3 for free so is there going to be overlap or is there a spot for both in a 6 ball bag
Maybe some total hook overlap but the Phaze 3 is a lot stronger on the backend
Hi Luke, I'm behind a bit but could you tell me how the axiom pearl would compare to the No Rules Pearl i still have, any help appreciated, thx , cheers!

Do u think the axiom and axiom pearl can work in the bag together as a second ball bag
Connor Bowling ball review Yeah definitely, Axiom is quite a bit earlier, smoother, and stronger, good pair together
Considering I have the axiom solid, phase 2, idol pro and the idol pearl..which you choose the axiom pearl or the trend? Mostly THS
I'd go Axiom Pearl, it's the most different from what you already have, Trend and Idol Pearl are really similar.
i got a trend and astro, i want this ball badly but idk if it will fit with those two
Neooooo Yeah it would, this coverstock is way stronger than the one that’s on the Trend and Astro.
How do you think it compares to the marvel Maxx se? Seems pretty similar to me.
Yep, it's fairly similar. Axiom Pearl isn't as early and chuggy as the SE, but pretty close. So obviously I love it lol.
Sweet I love my Maxx
Are you planning to buy the upcoming Physix Maestro? If so, would you be able to do a review of it?
Will Murphy Eh, I don’t think so. Lol they come out too fast and so I really have to pick and choose. I only do overseas reviews for my Patreon crowd now though
@@LukeRosdahl Fair enough. From what you know about the cover/core combination + specs, how would it compare to the OG Physix.
Should act like a stronger version of the PhysiX polished or with lane shine, now I'm interested lol . .
I hate this ball.
Lol I didn't end up being a big fan of mine either . .

@@Carrythe10 my PSO and I are still awaiting an answer from Luke though.
NormFromDiscord well the scent is so much better on the Axiom Pearl and the colors are more vibrant.
I have that ball on order and waiting for it to hopefully come in next week since I know a guy who can get the VIP balls early. With that being said, what are the comparisons between this ball and the IQ tour emerald?
Bastionite Not very close, Axiom Pearl is stronger across the board by a LOT. I don’t even feel it needs a comparison video, just not close enough
Arsenal includes Crux Prime, Hyper Cell Fused, Phaze 3, and Hyroad X. Don’t have any pearl balls and just wondering if the Axiom Pearl would be a good addition or recommend something else.

Is it just me or this ball looks EXACTLY like the VG Nano Pearl? Reaction reminds me a lot of the VGNP too.
Yep, shiny Nano Pearl has a very distinct look on the lanes.
