What is a dental crown lengthening?
This surgical procedure can be performed on cavities located well below the gum level, where access is limited for the dentist. This technique is also used to improve the appearance of a tooth which has excess gum, for aesthetic reasons.
In this video we will simulate a cavity well below the gum level, which through bone remodeling and then healing will be possible to restore it using a Composite Resin, also due to the depth it was necessary to perform RCT Root Canal Treatment.
All these treatments must be carried out by qualified professionals, and the type of restoration may vary since all cases are not the same.

This is a 2nd molar, it is really possible; But for this, the dentist must have training or specialization such as advanced surgery, periodance or maxillofacial surgery.

Amazing work. This is what I need. I have a 40 year old filling done when in the Marines, and last week I bit into an olive seed and half of the filling on the side crumbled. I wonder if the dentist can remove the black metal and Refill it with this white resign.

Meu dente ta igual 😢 a dentista falou que ja perdí, que é caso de extração. E o de baixo tamb ta igual, só que menor, ela disse que ja perdí tamb pq necrozaram mto. Eu perguntei se não valia a pena tentar o tratamento expectante pra ver como reage, ela disse que não. Que tem que extrair mesmo, poxa eu não queria perder meus dentes 😔 não tive condições de buscar atendimento antes, e nunca me orientaram a usar fio e escova certos, eu não sabia da importancia, pq nunca falaram mesmo, entao eu tamb nunca dei importancia

Had this with my first crown. Dentist did crown. When I came back for regular cleaning he said he didn’t like the way it was fitting and wanted to do it over AND I would need this procedure before he did so. Ugh! But it seems it was the right call..
