It's disgusting how peoples lives are ruined due to corruption/toxic police. Yet they have the NERVE TO GET MAD, when folks admit they DON'T FEEL SAFE. These folks should receive compensation for their time (not that it would make anything even). Also the officers should serve every year they did. This is horrible.

Maybe this has never happened in real life but a fantasy of mine for a fictional novel or movie is a situation like you described where many years later one of his victims is exonerated and awarded several million dollars restitution and instead of making a new life for themselves he uses a portion of the money to finance an elaborate REVENGE against them. Kind of a modern "Count of Monte Cristo". I really want just once to see a victim of one of these detectives get a revenge.

@@Zurround yeah,i don't think they saw your book and used it as evidence. it actually happens irl. even some of the "witnesses" arent actual witnesses. they just want to see a detective or officer in jail. the more witnesses, more serve the crime, unless there was only a few witnesses that survive. there needs to be proof the person "innocent or not" was there or near there at the time. which is why detectives have multiple on one case,so it isnt speculation or belive it is one person

I guess they do have the power to ruin you and your families life if you don't comply I understand that for a witness but when being done directly towards the victim, the moment you succumb to the pressure its over for you, that's what peer pressure is. It sad how if decided on person in a higher position than you could easily ruin your life and the justice system couldn't be none the wiser.
