When it was winter, I was not yet fond of bushcraft and hiking in the woods, it's already summer, and I started to run my own TH-cam channel on bushcraft, and I understand how I want winter to be again! :)
I do not know exactly how many kg for one night. It depends on what type of wood you are burning and how warm you want the tent to be. If you burn hard woods then you do not need as much as you would with soft woods. You could save wood by letting your fire burn out while you sleep. That is what I do most of the time.
It is in the mid to upper 90's with very high humidity where I am - FL! The snow and cool images were very refreshing to watch. I wonder if you 'carry' because of two legged or four legged predators?
That is pretty warm! We are finally experiencing those temperatures here but minus the humidity. I'm glad you liked it, thank you! I carry for both kinds of predators lol. I recently had my car vandalized while on a trip. My car was only 1/4 mile from camp so they could have easily found me if they wanted to. Hopefully I never have to use it but I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Those food containers are the best! They are called STAX and are made by Humangear. I bought mine at REI but you can find them on Amazon too - amzn.to/39NqYZa

No problem man, glad I could help! I live in Oregon and we just happened to have a cold front move through the area. It was raining in the valleys so I climbed as high as I could in the mountains to catch that snow. Pretty crazy because it’s been around 90 everyday since that trip lol. I always carry a Zoleo satellite communicator to be safe. It is a must-have item in my opinion. I thought about listing my gun and holster information but TH-cam is picky about promoting firearms. I am happy to list it in the comments though. I carried a Ruger LC9s 9mm and my holster is made by Aliengear.

Overall I like it but the pole in the middle is annoying sometimes. I think you could make an A-frame with 2 poles but I'm not sure how sturdy it would be. My fear is that it would collapse on top of the wood stove. That is my only real complaint though. It holds up to moisture and wind pretty well.
There are a lot of TH-cam videos about cold weather camping. Yours are by far the best and I'm happy I found your channel. I wish I could do this.. hard to do with wife and kids.. lol. One question, why did you bring your gun this time? Just curious.. thanks for these videos and keep doing them for us that can't get out and experience this.
