I LOVE seeing the familiar pieces come up again and again in different ways - you really inspire me to use what I already have. Thank you for these insightful videos!
The knit around the shoulders over a winter coat is great if it looks too bulky under the coat (my biggest pet peeve with boxy knits). Then, you can wear the knit once you're indoors. I love this idea.
I love that you paired the blue trainers with the brown pants instead of something more neutral. Definitely goes back to your previous videos about putting together complementary colours for a bit of fun !
I will definitly try the cardigan-t-pants formula 😍 feel like I've done it before but for the typical "practical" reason and not stylish... the chunky knit w trousers changed my world! I have rather wide hips compared to my hips (almost no hips..) so wider bottoms usually look more balanced on me, but I also love loose, chunky sweaters ☺ will also be using my skirts more with laying tights underneath 😊
Yay glad you'll try it out :) I just stumbled upon the chunky knit/trousers combo because I wear trousers most days now but it really is one of my favourite ways to wear the chunkier knit. Really appreciate you watching and commenting xx
Hey! Lumiere you're looking too too too incredible in all haul and I love your vlogs so so so much you inspired me so so so much and I wish you reach 70K Subscribers very very soon!😊❤️✨
The whole sweater over the shoulder, the cape drape of a blazer, it's just not for me. It's not functional and there's no way I'm stretching out my cashmere sleeves to do it.
Oh I will definitely need to be careful with this one with wool knits. Potentially because I live in a mild climate, I usually carry a knit with me more than I wear one in the transitional season - so it's a trick that allows me to be hands free. Thank you for the reminder tho, maybe this is something for cotton knits that feel a tad stronger.
Similarly, the tucking in the sweater thing just makes me think about the fibres getting bruised and misdirected (especially with cashmere or fine wool) with friction and stretch developing across that line. A few short-length sweaters are less hassle, look more relaxed and won’t wear out as quickly imo.
My favourite length is below the knee around mid calf. It's more of a personal style preference but I always feel a bit taller in a longer coat. Also, it keeps my legs warm in winter (I don't live somewhere very cold so middle of winter I'll just wear my coat). xx
Hey Mary! Totally understand that they’re not your thing. But they’re a personal staple, like wearing jeans :) the great thing about online is that it’s always possible to find those who share a similar style, who in this case, don’t style blazers.
Thank you for sharing all those combinations and ideas with us, this is just so inspiring! Thanks to your videos I am having. more fun with my wardrobe then ever before Have a safe trip to Europe and I'll be on the look out for you here in Prague 😉 Fingers crossed you also have it on your list
I lose items that are not attached to body, so having my precious knits slung over an overcoat would stress me out. Lol because I would probably drop it on the floor and only realize by the end of the day. Nice idea but I think a more practical and nice alternative would be a large chunky woolen scarf 🧣 🧥

Thank you Fran :) I always like to do a mix of old/new and make sure I'm showing as many ways as I can to style the same pieces

same here, doesn't even look good on me even though it looks amazing on Helen 😍 but on me it just looks like I'm trying too hard 😅😂
no way stretching out my cashmere sleeves is what I always think about this styling hack.

Yeah cotton sweaters would work well
Love your black shoulder bag. What brand is it 😊👍
Why sweater over coat, especial if you have one under coat?
Question - what's an ideal length of a woollen coat? 🙊

NO MORE BLAZERS!! All influencers look the same! No creativity. YUCK!

A large woolen scarf is definitely a good alternative :) Thank you for watching xx
