Big was bad, but that doesn't mean Carrie didn't exhibit red flags as well. In the beginning, Big told her he wanted to take things slow, but she got so caught up wanting answers right then and there. He even told her that he didn't want her to meet his mom until he was sure the relationship was going to last. Then she chose to spy on them at church, which forced the introduction. She continually pushed his boundaries and expected him to bend then broke up with him when he didnt give her the answer she wanted. Hell, she met a guy, Aiden, who had all the qualities she wanted Big to have and ended up cheating on him with Big. Then she begged Aiden to take her back, then forced him to be ok with the guy she cheated with being in her life. Then accepted his proposal only to break up with him again.
When he first rolled down his limo window to call her over, she should have kept going...that was disrespectful...he could have jumped out of his car and gone over to speak to her
4:07 how could she be attracted to him, knowing he says in the same sentence, "I am aware of that" (he's married) and so sex will easily make him cheat. So insane
Now years later I can see that both are superficial. It's hard to imagine that a serious guy wants to be in a relationship with Carrie. And I think, Big it's not attractive.
I think either it should've been over for good between Carrie and Big after Natasha found out, or they should've gotten together and married after Big divorces Natasha instead of back to on and off, that's just pathetic. Should've made him make his mind up and then leave for good since he couldn't. Then again they were sort of perfect for each other. Very likeminded people. Big's just more reserved. Aiden sure deserved better.
The thing we know from the Carrie Diaries that this is also just kind of her thing. Sebastian was a good person in the end, but she wanted to stay in Manhatten rather than go to Cali with him. She had another good person in Aiden, but she was in love with the aesthetic of wealth that Big provided. She doubtlessly could have done her column anywhere in the world tbf. Or moved on to something meaningful. But she chose things over the security of not one but two men that really loved her.

“I figured I made my bed, I should lie in it”
Natasha is NOT your bed you ass, she is your WIFE. Your marriage to her isn’t a punishment, why are you acting like it is?! The audacity and arrogance of this so-called man. How could Carrie see this, hear this, witness all this mess, and still let him into her bed, let alone her life?!
pros and cons of karmas and side pieces 🤷🏾♀️
She was smitten - that's why she put up with years of toxicity.
I am so disgusted by this union. 😀.
(….the editing made me laugh until I cried-beautiful.ty🍷)
When she begged him to just lie on top of her I swear I crack up every time😂😂😂😂😂😂
She was too serious. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The sims 1 burglar soundtrack never fails to take me out lmao
I always loved the Big and Carrie story now I HATE it. He was the ULTIMATE gas lighter.
He wasn’t a gaslighter at all. He was upfront about not wanting her.
@@Gemmarose9012 no he was the ultimate in mixed messages
@@KLEFF718When someone sends mix messages it means they don’t want you. And yes he was gaslighting her. Unfortunately a lot of women aren’t aware when this is happening to them.
@@unknownstranger6875 mixed messages are exactly that, mixed. And remember, they did end up eventually marrying. Am I saying it was healthy? No, it was toxic AF. But no one knows everything all the time.
@@KLEFF718 Why would someone who loves you send mix messages? When someone loves you there is no question about it. They prove it by their action. This is a fictional show, but it sends the wrong message. It keeps women pinning for men who are just stringing them along. At least we both agree that their relationship is toxic. I would never entertain a man who does that to me.
A true friend is someone who doesn't interfere with your own pursuit of happiness that doesn't involve them.
And as well as when it involves them.
wrong. a true friend tells you, how disgusting you are and how filthy your lifestyle is, and cancels you
A true friend should tell you the honest advice.
The ones who told Carrie to run or kick Mr. Big out, that would have been her truest friends.
I love that the plot of the first movie relied on big not having the phone numbers for LITERALLY ANY OF CARRIE’S FRIENDS 😂😂😂
Carrie in her 30s in a situation and acting like a child always makes me feel itchy like girl I could t do it idk why she settles 😂😂
Ya and don’t forget Carrie kissing Aiden in Morocco after her and Big were finally married 😂😂
I always saw this as Aiden's revenge on Big 🤣
@@kathleenlazarus3168 Same but I felt bad for Aiden's wife! Just goes to show, even when Carrie got what she wanted, she still wasn't happy.
Abu Dhabi not Morocco
@@zlatkajupeoh no - he became a cheater too??? Smh
She cheated on Big with the waiter after the party too. She kissed him and they were in her bed together
Carrie humiliated herself wearing that awful wedding dress.
what it is more outrageous is the make up, smh
They always have her act like she is a 20 year old not a grown woman. The dress was hideous.
The dress was pretty, it was the makeup, hair and bird on the head
Vivienne Westwood horror show. With a Philip Treacy hat... I remember thinking what is she wearing. Like a circus..or freak show..
@@jessicahitchens6926 such a good take. In the movie it seemed like Big thought the same thing, his 3rd wedding was turning into a circus. Granted he could've put his foot down and drew his boundaries just like Carrie should have. He's an unreliable partner. Carrie was just too caught up in the fairytale.
Hahaah that was craaazy to watch in recap!!! The thing is, this is very real and very fake at the same time. These sort of relationships never end up like that. In real life he was never in love with her. Thats the toxic part of this show, it made tons of women think "oh he does the same shit to me, he must love me and will realise that at some point, like in 10 years, for sure!
Exactly, it had a nefarious effect on women who were engaged in toxic relationships.
Yes, this is a classic narcissist. I had a relationship like this, worst 4 years of my life and it doesn’t end since we have a daughter together. I got married to a wonderful man who has never ever mistreated me.
@@faithbasedliving9391 do you love him more than you did the first though
She's desperate. This relationship was glamorizing this unrealistic narrative. These things dont usually end up with happy ending.
it didn't. the girl Carrie is based off of didn't end up with him.
I am literally screaming 😂😂😂. This editing is emmy worthy👑
Big always finds a way to put the other men down. Like primary school kids.
I remember sitting in the movie theater pissed off when Carrie ran to him in the closet..everyone around me clapping & I was rolling my eyes 😂.
Oh man lmao 😂😂 I loved it but because I had never watched the show lol.
@@faithbasedliving9391same 😂
Yeah, leaving at the alter was too much. Writers should've picked the rehearsal dinner or something lol
I refused to go to it.. I knew it would be nonsense. And all the pictures of them filming it the year before in NYC. 🙄
We’ve all had toxic relationships, the I don’t want you, but I don’t want you to be with anyone else either scenario…..I let it happen to me for 4 1/2 years. Married someone I met at work after 10m months, been married now for 35 years.
The fact he calls her “kid” is making this whole relationship even more disgusting…. :|
And that she calls him "Mr. Big/Big" like he is soo much more mature and fabulous when he sucks! They make me cringe. F this guy!
It’s cute
My dad calls my mom his kitty, does that make him a zoophile?
No it doesn’t, it’s a pet name. Christ.
@@Gemmarose9012 for the people who don't get it: in combination how he treats her, he literally sees her as someone not as evolved from him. So it's kid. No I don't think it's cute or really a pet name. This dude went to Paris and somehow came back with a fiance while telling Carrie he didn't want to be involved with her (but keeps coming back to her even if she tries to move on)
I think these two have amazing chemistry, but it's a toxic relationship.
duhhhh captain obvious 😳‼️
The sims burglar sound got me 💀 why does it fit Big so well
The edits are making me howl 😂😂 I need more lol
Wow! This was great to watch! The editing and sound effects cracked me up! I had no idea it was that toxic, when you watch it all in one go!
"apparently you have a drinking problem" no wonder he died later on.
He gave her IT balloons
omg i laughed so hard at this
Hiya Carrie!! Doncha wanna baloooon?? 🤡🤡🤡
thank you so much for making these montages, they're goated, funny, and do such a good job at describing carrie and big's relationship, i very much enjoyed every second of watching these even though i haven't watched sex and the city in it's whole lol, amazing work
classic, "we're so over, we're gonna need a new word for over."
I honestly think they deserve each other.😂
Big was bad, but that doesn't mean Carrie didn't exhibit red flags as well.
'My Heart Will Go On' hands down best part.
The recorder playing the Titanic song on that scene 🤌 absolute gold
THESE EDITS ARE EVERYTHING
I don't dislike Carrie. From the beginning of this video, it seems that it was big who kept chasing carrie and carrie tried to avoid him
They chase each other. Big chase Carrie when shes with someone else. Carrie chase Big when shes single and he avoid her.
Tried*
When he first rolled down his limo window to call her over, she should have kept going...that was disrespectful...he could have jumped out of his car and gone over to speak to her
“How are things with hotdog?”BURGER 😂😂😂
He was so annoying....
the burglar music from the original Sims is just ✨chef’s kiss✨
Call it what you want, but this is not love.
It's a sunset cruise in an aerated lagoon. ❤
4:07 how could she be attracted to him, knowing he says in the same sentence, "I am aware of that" (he's married) and so sex will easily make him cheat. So insane
"🎶Still a peace of garbageee 🎶"
That ending with Tyra screaming over the top was chef's kiss!
Both Carrie and Big are histerical! 😂😂😂😂
“hYsterical”
This isn’t live it is a trauma bond.
Most amazing visual representation of unrequited love
Now years later I can see that both are superficial. It's hard to imagine that a serious guy wants to be in a relationship with Carrie. And I think, Big it's not attractive.
Its so sweet that she thinks he retyped the poems 😂😂😂
Esp when she is a writer herself!
She is not very bright
Big never wanted the relationship with Carrie!! Its so sad, he destroyed everything and every relationship. He just toxic thays not love
Yes, every woman dreams of getting married at the city hall. SMH
It was good enough for Charles and Camilla. 👑
You should get married wherever you want but I felt Paris would’ve been where Carrie wanted to be
Are you looking down on people who want to get married at City Hall? Because it sounds to me like you’re being a snobby, judgemental b!tch. 💁🏻♀️
Carrie wasn't a city hall marriage. Shows how she settled. Nothing wrong with city hall. I did it.
The my heart will go on part always makes me DIE of laughter hahahahaha. Thank you for creating this!
I thought American men knew boundaries but his stalking Carrie in spite of her resistance is really scary!
LMAO It’s a show.
Why would you think American men know boundaries? They're awful
When she said “I have a man who LOVES ME and you have a wife who LOVES YOU”…
Exactly. But Big and Carrie didn't love them back.
@@LolitaBonitaaa they didn't even love themselves, so how could they?! It's all so sad and so much innocent people got hurt in the mix of their toxicity..... 😕
Okay, hear me out. As toxic as Carrie and Big are together; that's why they belong together. She and Aidan never clicked; they did not have the same chemistry that she and Big had. They were both equally jerks to each other and that's why it was so fitting that Big swept Carrie off her feet in Paris. I was soooo pissed when they killed him off. They're my favorite SATC couple. Although Harry and Charlotte and Sam and Smith are very close seconds.
The editing is so fucking hilarious
You're amazing for editing these! I'm literally crying from laughter as I write this... 😭😭😭 A million stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you so much!!! 💜
I laughed so hard with the edit!!!Good job😂
Lmfao @ 3:08 ish 😂 the “horror”sound
so sad and pathetic, like a cat that is torturing a mouse before it finally kills it… all this ache… What is the moral given to women?? Succumb to toxic masculinity and keep your self desperate and unsatisfied, gaslighted for years..??? And we call this “love life”?? What can a woman gain from this on going soul destroying situation? Do we really need this kind of dynamics in our lives? Pretty sick and seriously dysfunctional..and all that idolised by the media, brainwashing women’s heads that it is normal!
Yep😢
This is pure masterpiece, thank you! :D
The Titanic flute number. Omg staph!😂😭
That damn Sims burglar music. 😭😭😭😭
Hahah it was so perfect 😂 good ol sims 1 🥲
Thankyou for brightening up my Friday night. Man I missed this show! Makes me chuckle 😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣 😂 😃
