3:07:48 And that was the moment I realized, Himuro is actually a kuudere genderbent Izaya with glasses. She trills on the human chaotic nature and takes joy in messing with people simply because she finds their behavior amusing, yet she has no interest in being involved in such things herself. She is extremely rational and logical, yet has a strange and hard to describe interest in the occult/supernatural. She acts, looks and thinks like an intellectual, yet is surprisingly very impressive when it comes to physical ability. She has an inseparable relationship with an unhinged force of pure chaos and destruction who she calls by a nickname, and they're constantly seen together chasing each other. She is mysterious and unknown to those around her and no one seems to be able to fully understand her. She is constantly gathering and compiling information about the personal lives of everyone in her vicinity. She has her own spinoff that is separate from the main story, but still connected to it. She has a small circle of close friends who she does not clearly show much affection towards, yet still very much cares about them. PS: after writing the comment I thought: "Though I think Durarara!! is newer, so I guess Izaya is the one who's a "yandere genderbent Himuro with a coat"" But apparently I was wrong. A quick Google search told me Durarara!! Is actually from 2004, I didn't know it was that old.
@@bookshelfxd Kind of unrelated, but you responding to this comment just reminded me I have to watch the new Fate/Strange Strange Fake that just came out, apparently the novel for that is written by Durarara!!'s author, which is why this reminded me of it. I have bigger priorities now though, been busy recently so I'm not up to date with anything, I have a season of Kimetsu no Yaiba, as well as Jujutsu Kaisen and Mushoku Tensei coming out right now. I'll probably watch those before picking up Strange Fake.
@@urtoryu_dy_althraidn Just so you know, Fate/strange Fake (yes, strange is lowercase for some reason) is written by a superfan of the Nasuverse. If you want the most out of the series, make sure that you are deep into Nasuverse lore.
@@bookshelfxd Does "deep in Nasuverse lore" means I have to play Grand Order? Because if it's just Tsukihime and Kara no Kyoukai that's fine, I was planning to do that eventually anyways so I can just leave Fate/strange Fake for after it, but I am not AT ALL interested in playing a huge mobile gacha game.
The outsider perspective of all of this is just wonderful. The number of weird scenarios you can construct by observing shirous life without context is almost limitless, especially when you start adding in things like Shirou's casual affiliation with a Yakuza boss and multiple rich foreigners. Its a conspiracy theorists wet dream.
@@GrimgoreIronhide Yeah, no way that one's true. That's like saying "Kuzuki-sensei is secretly a superhuman runaway assassin from a secret evil organization who's in hiding with a fake identity" or something like that just because he doesn't express much emotion, it's obviously made up just to sound cool.

If you're wondering about Fate/School Life, it was translated for a bit before the author sent a cease-and-desist letter unfortunately. Interesting detail to note, there are several things in Himuro the Love Detective that make it clear this event happens before the 4 day cicle, not during it. Firstly, Himuro and co have no idea who saber is, while in the rest of the game they seem to be aware of her. Secondly, in another scene Himuro mentioned how Makidera was a surprisingly decent cook, but here she is surprised by Makidera saying she can do so and states she didn't know about it. Thirdly, in the training camp scene Makidera tells Rin to drop her facade and "act like she does when she goes shopping with them". Note the plural, we know Makidera went shopping with Rin several times before, but here she is including Himuro and Saegusa, and in this event Himuro shows that she had never seen Rin act casually before that talk with Saber, which means those shopping outings must have happened in between this event and the 4 days. There might be more too that I missed. Also, the "Mitsuzuri's relashionship mystery" was mentioned in other events outside of the Eclipse, though from a more indirect insider perspective. Shirou and Mitsuzuri touched the subject in their talk by the bridge, and I think it was mentioned in another scene too, though I can't remember when.
I admit, I can't help but feel a little bad for Minori. Sakura is surely well aware he has a crush on her and she's completely ignoring it, for how long will the poor guy mistakenly believe he has a chance?

So, new information, there is indeed a British princess named Saber. Haber, pronounced Saber, was a British princess in the fictional royal line of Geoffrey of Monmouth in his History of the Kings of Brittan. Her story is rather odd, she did not live long, and was thrown into a river as a baby. However her death kicked off a lot of stuff, and is a speculated origin of the modern name Sabrina. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hafren It is highly questionable as to whether Nasu knew this, however I should note the man was a student of Celtic myth, and Geoffery's fictional history is pretty mainstream reading in that rather obscure field so it is not at all impossible. In any case Saber should definitely know about counterpart as her death was a fairly major event in the fictional history, and took place not so long before Artoria's birth.
