Just some advice to anyone doing this. Not sure if my clips are different but on a 2016, the back map light, do it opposite to what he did. Those 2 clips are the ones meant to come off. Not the 3. Ended up breaking one of the 3 when I did it his way

This is super detailed, thank you. I know it's six years old but I just got a F10 and found this quite helpful. Any assistance with the other interior bulbs? (1) Interior foot wells have different bulb type (how to remove?). (2) glove box has a bulb that is quite hard to access... any suggestion? (3) Mirror vanity lights have a different receptacle.

Very helpful video. After the install, is there any programming required in the car to let it know of LED bulbs in use vs halogen? Are these just plug and play or will I get some warnings without programming?

did you use the crystal white or the cool white bulbs? and Is there much of a difference
Thank you for your interest. There is a slight, noticeable difference in 6K vs 8K. The 6000K color was used for this installation video.
Great video... unfortunately 2015 F06 is not the same. I got it about half off, but my tabs are either non-existent or in a location not easily seen. Keep up the good work!

what is the difference between the premium LED package and the standard?
The new Premium 5730SMD LED bulbs are the next generation of new LEDs. Compared to the older 5050SMDs, these LEDs have 3 times the light output per LED. The 5730 LED chip is designed for maximum light output while the aluminum housing helps to dissipate heat effectively for the longevity of the bulb. The new 5730SMD LEDs have a Constant Current Circuit design which helps maintain brightness if the voltage fluctuates within the circuit and has voltage surge protection up to 18V. And of course, all of our interior 5730 LEDs are backed by our 1 year warranty.
did you install a resistor for the reverse lights? if not then do the lights not give off an error code?
Thank you for the interest. No, we do not need to install resistors, and no, our Canbus LEDs would not give off a dash error.
do you have to install a load resistor for the reverse light LEDs?
No, it would not be necessary to install a load resistor for the reverse LED, as our LEDs are high quality Canbus products to ensure you do not experience any flickering, dash errors, or any other issues.
Do you have led bulbs for a 2013 bmw m5 sun visor? They are two really small bulbs on each sides that are smaller then a peanut bulb.
I do believe the lights you are referring to would be stock LED, which you cannot replace as they are soldered to a chip and board.
However, if this is not the case, if you can send us over a photo of the bulb, we can check to see if we have a compatible LED replacement.

Can these lights be used for a 7 series in the same year range? (2013)
Although the installation should be very similar to as shown in the installation video, you would install a different package.

I have change Vanity Mirror to LED while seating on passenger side and try the light Suddenly there is no light On and warning light of passenger Airbag pop up ...any idea how to check where is the fuse F10 make 2016 N20. Tks

Can you please do installation on X3 on 2014 and newer models. There are no videos out there and I do want to replace with LED lights. Many thanks
Unfortunately, we do not have an install video for your vehicle just yet, as we have not yet gotten our hands on one out here in Los Angeles, CA. However, the installation process is virtually the same for all vehicles. The halogen bulbs are very easy to access with our trim took kit, which comes complimentary with all of our interior LED packages. I would recommend having a watch on some of our other DIY videos, and you will gain a general knowledge of how LEDs are installed.
All but two of the rear done replaced now. Careful on the rear dome, because after getting dome out, two outside ones wont work--no voltage. I used multimeter--nothing. I took completely apart and see no cracks in PCB and switches look just like middle one. not sure what the issue is, but will troubleshoot more this weekend. Put light half way back in as it's a SUPER PITA to get out. E39 is so much easier. :-)

Thank you for your interest. LED bulb color temperature is ultimately personal preference. The difference is the 6000K projects a warmer white color, and the 8000K projects a cooler white. I bet it's very similar/the same as this one, but I feel like this is at least a baseline. If Inwere going to be constructive I would say try to limit the "as you can see" to only one per day...that phrase is tired AND needs a rest! I just bought lights from you guys. For the BMW shown, is the front middle light the same as the rear light? Do I also have to disconnect the entire thing?
Hi! Yes, for the BMW in this video the middle map light and the rear dome lights are the same T10 bulb. You will need to disconnect and remove the rear dome housing but you do not need to disconnect the map light housing, just pull it down as shown in the video.

How on earth did you get that rear done light out without breaking it? Especially with the fat end. I've been trying and it's proving to be impossible.
Please reference 4:00 in the video. As you can see, we are pushing the whole panel while we are gently prying the tabs with the fat end of the fork shaped tool. We have found that it is important to use the proper tools in order to avoid causing damage!

@@PrecisionLED I agree, I installed the 6000k on my Daughter's 3rd gen TL, map/dome light door lights, and rear dome light, and also on her bf's 2004 G35 coupe, is a must have upgrade especially for people that works at night, gets home late is a lot easier to see your interior, I think of is as a safety measure,
