- Hey you! Today I am sharing my first day of wearing Invisalign! I will have 53 trays in total, so this is definitely a long journey. I definitely met a couple of challenges I didn't expect, but I hope it only gets better from here on out! Let me know if you have any tips at all, they will be greatly appreciated 😁

id rather learn to love my natural looks and save money then spending money on changing my appearance, besides spending money on your looks shows insecurity and mental problems
Good for you for doing what is right for you. But I feel like you wouldn't judge others and say they have mental problems for doing what makes them happy, if you were truly happy with yourself 😉
I firmly believe anyone should feel free to change their looks if that makes them happy and feel more like who they really are, whether that is hair colour, makeup, clothes, plastic surgery or - yes, their teeth.
The fact that you prefer yourself without any improvements, does not mean you're superior or that your way is right - it is simply right for you.
And most people who wear braces also need them to correct the bite (me included) because we didn't get the appropriate dental care as children and now the problem has progressed. My dentist pushed for me to get braces because otherwise I would get major problems down the line from a progressive overbite.

Congratulations on getting your Invisalign!! I started my journey a year ago December 27th. I started with 24 trays, then moved on to the refinement stag where I have 22 more trays. I change my trays every Friday which when I change this Friday I will only have 4 trays left! I'm so glad I did it, and looking back at it now, the process really went by quickly. The longer you have them the more you even forgot you have them in. Good luck, and if I can be of any help just let me know!! 😁
I'm getting invisalign in a couple months. I got my scan, just waiting for a callback. I've enjoyed watching your videos and I'm so happy you were able to get this! 💖💖
Thanks for sharing. I got mine a little over a month ago and currently on my 3rd trays. I still have a slight lisp and the 1st and 3rd trays were painfull, my teeth were hurting for 3 to 4 days. I've shed a few tears. I just tell myself that I'm fixing an insecurity that I've had for a very long time and in the end it will be worth it when I have a beautiful smile.

I started Invisalign today and very thankful to find your video. I have 50 trays and 20 attachments. We can do this together!
Started yesterday- 49 trays & 13 attachments and not loving this!

Oh wow. I’m so jealous lol. i had regular braces and at the time Invisalign was available but waaaay too expensive. i always wondered if i would have been less self-conscience with invisalign. i’m glad you are chronicling this to see how it actually works
I'm sorry you felt self-conscious with your braces :( Because we have to keep so much distance from other people now, nobody has even noticed mine yet haha 😁 My sister had regular braces as well and I could tell they were very painful! Her teeth look amazing though, and I'm sure yours do too! 🤗
Thank you so much for sharing your Invisalign journey! I'm getting my aligners installed next tues and i'm really excited about it. The info you provided helps a lot! It looks like it feels a lot different when you have it but other people can't really tell.

I'm currently on my 7th tray so I can relate to the lisping lol.. First couple of days were a bit uncomfortable; I'm not going to lie, I might have shed a tear or two but that was only when I had to remove them to eat. It's not as bad anymore now that my treatment is progressing. The only thing that gets to me on most days is the irritation in my mouth due to some rough sides of the tray... I know it will be worth it in the end though..
Ooooh thank you so much for your comment, you just gave me so much hope that this will be doable!! ❤️ Yesss, I put off removing them to eat for as long as I can, it is not the most comfortable thing 😭 I'm so happy to hear it got better, fingers crossed I have the same experience as well 🤗❤️
For anyone new who may be reading this, dental wax can be used to cover rough edges. I took Tylenol like my life depend on it the first few days, but what helped even more was was putting orajel max strength (4x) in my aligners before reinserting them. I did that with Tylenol at first, but after just the orajel. I didn't have orajel at first, but I think that helped the most. I'll try just that when I change my trays and see how it goes. This is my first set of trays btw

@@SandraSkaar Hi I’m on my second tray. The first few days was hell, also couple days after changing tray.
They’re so tight and I struggled taking them off.
I had traditional braces and yeah they can be uncomfortable for sure, in particular when the dentist tightens them. I also had to have 4 teeth pulled before I got the braces I did not have an easy time of it. These braces are so much nicer then the ones I had they were like Ugly Betty style braces. Yes was hard to eat but you will get use it. But the metal kind were so much worse. I had mine for three years, a year is not too bad. It will be worth it in the end. Big like 👍 🤗 💕
Oh my gosh wow!! Three years, I could not even imagine 😱 My sister had those metal braces for two years (I think), and she had so much pain, so I think I'm lucky I just have these plastic ones. Thank you so much for the lovely comment, I actually feel a lot better now! 🤗❤️
i know this video was 3 month before but i have my invisalign for 4 month now i think and it is getting better! everything gets better the lisp, the pain, like yk you are getting used to it:)
Hi...I’m a month into my Invisalign and you and I seem to be the only two people who aren’t really witnessing any pain. I find the aligner pushes for the first two to three days and then it eases. As to the eating...I still don’t like it because of the attachments. They sometimes get stuff stuck but it’s just an uncomfortable feeling whilst eating and that hasn’t got any better. On the whole it’s all okay and pain free. One tip for you...if your aligner is sharp you can use a nail file to smooth it down a bit and make it more comfortable...it might save you having to use the wax. Fortunately my journey is only a little over 3 months and I just think for every day I wear this the nearer I am to having aligned teeth. Btw, your teeth are in great condition and once aligned you’ll look like a Hollywood star with lovely straight white teeth 😁

I'm extremely surprised your ortho didn't perform IPR upon initiating treatment. It's very commonly used for crowding, and sometimes to allow for rotation (I had both cases; what joy). I'm looking forward to seeing how your process went. Thanks for sharing!
I have both too lol..am on the 6th day of tray 1 and a total of 31 trays.
Only one minute to remove the trays on day one, you’re so lucky (or really good at it). I’m on day 5 of having Invisalign and it takes me 20 minutes to get them out.

Yes!! I was thinking about that yesterday - I just got elastics added as well and it's been going great 😃 I'll try to film one soon, good luck for Saturday!

i got mine yesterday, I’m in so much pain especially because of my elastics. so this helped me lol
Ouch! Did you get elastics on day 1? I got mine on the 10th tray, so I could deal with the pain in stages 🙈 Hope you're already starting to feel better! And hang in there, for me it got a lot better after the first week and it's so worth it (and I'm not even half way through my treatment yet)! 🤗😍
@@SandraSkaar Yes 😓, they put them on right away. But my teeth aren’t as sensitive though so i guess that’s a plus, And i still can’t get the hang out taking out my trays, but i’m sure i’ll get there :)
Yes, in my experience it will get so much easier after the first week ❤️
How many weeks it took for your Invisalign treatment?
I am planning to go for it for my crossbite.
I'm just now getting done 😄 So about a year and a half, if my final scan is good 😊 Well worth it though!

Did you lose attachments? Just had them put on today and 5 came off 🤦🏻♀️ Wanted to see if others had issues.
Yes, one of mine actually came off almost immediately, so I went in and had it replaced the next day. I was told to let them know if any of them came off, because it will impact the treatment. I would call your orthodontist, it seems like a lot that 5 came off! Hope it works out.
I have15 attachments I think? I had 3 come off in a week, my ortho told me if 1 falls off they'll just put it on at my next visit (6wks later) but if 2 or more came off to call and they'd get me in sooner

I know it's not at all easy but your teeth have to measure up to the rest of your beauty. Maybe the beginning of each cycle will be the worst and after a couple of days it won't be as bad. 🤷♀️
