WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

Ramlah ram started the dangdut fever in Malaysia when nobody else during that time dare too.. its in 1991 I think, after which Amelina and the rest dangdut singer appeared. Ramlah set the trend! She is a living legend. ✨️
Respect for Ramlah Ram. Still good. Anuar Zain, Jay Jay...my favourite.. Syamel has become one too.

Jay Jay is an evergreen singer from the 70s, for him to still able to hit high note in his 60s today, is something remarkable, with exceptional for Syamel, both of them are singers from the 70s and 80s respectively who still maintain their status with distinctivley powerful vocals. Syamel sang a 90s song by the late Sudirman, also one of our best singer, the song literally translated as 'Send my final goodbye' release a year before his passing..
Syamel is my fav singer now.Superb vocal n always stunning on stage.He sang a sad song Salam Terakhir .

Hi Nephi, says peminat Ramlah Ram Jay Jay Dan Anuar Zain sejak remaja lagi...tone yang berbeza Dari mereka. Tq Masih sudi reaction penyanyi Malaysia. Nephi makin pandai cakap melayu...syabas!! Salam terakhir amat sedih bila teringat penyanyi asal lagu ini..alfatihah but arwah Sudirman. Cukup sekali nyanyian Jay Jay seperti dulu ton suaranya..tak berubah langsung...best!!!
