Got a Schrade knife a while back and was not very impressed. There was little pieces of fiber glass on the sheath and that always sucks. Probably why I have a negative association with it now ahahaha 🔪
Not interested in hardly any of the more expensive American brands. Don't like the looks, the sheaths, the handles, the blades. Nordic all the way. My list would start with Mora, but go up with more Scandinavian style blades. Hulterfors heavy duty, Mora Kansbol, Terava Puuko, Mora Garberg, Benchmade Puuko. I will admit though, that Ontario looks intriguing
That 3rd one, the Ontario sucks don't get one. Although I think they went out of business. The last one is a good choice. 4 1/2 blade tops brothers of bushcraft.
Dont like saber grinds for woods knife, doesnt take long and blade doesnt sharpen good because of thickness. That Essee is a great blade steel and style.
OKC makes some fantastic knives. 2 in my own collection and they get a lot of use. I carry multiple Mora kniv high carbon steel blades in my backpack and go bags.
Lion Steel are great knives, but cost way over $99. I am actually impressed by Za Pas, I like the weight, sheath retention and it sits well in my hand.
Solid list. Personally, I prefer the mora 511 to the companion. It’s even more affordable, fits my hand better, and doesn’t have rubber on the handle (rubber handles give me blisters). Too thin to pry with though. Easy to replace when broken though. It’s $7 sometimes.
I've never had the chance to use a Esee 6, but my Esse Junglas 2 has never let me down, maybe weighed me down a little... but it also fills the role of a small machete or a good hatchet extremely well.
Any knife without a round or oval handle will eat your hand up within 10 minutes of the actual use you will need it for. No serrations on the grip, no square or rectangular handles!
I dislike every knife on this list as a Bushcraft knife except for the first and last one on the list. For me a scandi grind is the only option for a dedicated Bushcraft knife. And rounded handle also preferably tho I'd sacrifice it a bit for the tops due to other features.
The crazy thing is the cheapest knife on here is also one of the best choices on any budget 👍
So would you recommend the mora knife?? I’m looking for a cheap but strong knife!! Cheers
Get the stainless steel mora companion@@joshuahedges4882
I have the Mora Companion HD carbon steel. A superb knife like the regular Mora Companion.
Moras are great. I've carried one hunting, camping, and several Afghanistan deployments for nearly 20 years
Bark River, TRC, Fallkniven...
Esee no Brasil $1800 😢😢
The Ontario is a very good choice. I carry mine on every camping trip. Easy to sharpen and holds a proper edge.
Dam felcicia. Yall whites know how to use them tools and everythang
The mora is probably the best knife on this list, it's simple and it works, for the $10-20 price point is just icing on the cake
I have the tops fieldcraft and the mora. The tops is a better knife but they are both great.
its like 8 bucks in sweden
Schrade is made in China. very disappointed in the quality
schrade was good, several decades ago
they seem to be living off their name alone

Yup cheaply made in countries known for making crappy products
Mora without a doubt is my go to with my Swiss army or Opinel for my EDC just because of the strict laws here in the UK.
Wait, an opinel knife is okay in the UK. I need to know this if I ever plan on working abroad. Hehehe
@@My_Neighbour in the UK you can carry a machete if you’re black or Muslim
I have the frontier! crazy thing back in 2018 though I paid $25 for it new
Za-pas great knives in D2 and 80CrV2 hand made in Poland👏🏼It will last a lifetime.
There is a difference between bushcraft & survival knifes
For once, they did get better each time...
"Bushcraft knives for every Budget"
Morakniv.
Varusteleka.
Helle.
That is all.
No Falkiven A1 pro?

My Kitchen knife can compare to those
That 3rd one, the Ontario sucks don't get one. Although I think they went out of business.
The last one is a good choice. 4 1/2 blade tops brothers of bushcraft.

I broke my Mora in 2 days. It was crap. I'll go with the Esee 6 all day every day.
OKC makes some fantastic knives. 2 in my own collection and they get a lot of use. I carry multiple Mora kniv high carbon steel blades in my backpack and go bags.
No question the Mora is a great knife for the money. It's just boring.
Change bushcraft, to douch craft, seriously
So can You legally carry the
" Ontario " knife ,
in Ontario ?
That tops is nice.
The sad thing is, my currency is 4:1 to us dollar
Where is the river in the introduction?
I wish more people would do videos showing the best options depending on your budget. very helpful.
Where did you buy the tops fieldcraft in 154cm at 189 dollars?
bladeupgrade.com/knives/46077-tops-fieldcraft-bob-hunter-black-knife-tpbros154blk10.html
Esee 6 in my coutry cost 300€ with sheed
Cold Steel SRK 50-250 depending on steel
i have a morachniv, not attractive but it is so good
That music wtf
Tops are NEVER affordable.
No Rockstead KON? 😢 That’s not for every budget then…
Who can afford Rocktead is definitely not on the budget 😀
You’re delusional if you’d pay $3000 for that. ZDP189 is high quality steel but that doesn’t make it worth nearly that much. The max I’d pay is $500.
swap the za paz thing out for a lion steel
Lion Steel are great knives, but cost way over $99. I am actually impressed by Za Pas, I like the weight, sheath retention and it sits well in my hand.
The Cold Steel Republic is $270. It’s even more expensive. And that would be my bushcraft knife of choice. Cold Steel knives are very durable.
Regardless what knife you're carrying, you should also have a mora in the pack... They're too light and valuable to pass on.

I got the tops bob and it is phenomenal best one I've ever bought for everyday carry and yeah you have to pay top dollar for a tops knife
Mora is the only knife I will ever buy again for bushcraft if I need to, the one I have had been used for 3 years
Nevermind the knives where was that intro filmed?!
I was going to go sick if you did not include a esse of some sort
Do u ship to eu?
Unfortunately, we don’t.
Plz dont live in Europe, its actually quite gross!
Im sticking with my Milwaukee duct knife for 20 bucks. Full tang double edge blade
I got a klein duct knife, after a lot of research. Such great value.
keren gue banget❤❤❤❤❤❤
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That Esee Model 6 is a tank, absolutely a unit of a knife. I'll take that over all the others.
I've never had the chance to use a Esee 6, but my Esse Junglas 2 has never let me down, maybe weighed me down a little... but it also fills the role of a small machete or a good hatchet extremely well.

The pass looks sick
Beavercraft is my favorite
😀😀😀 Beercraft is trailing behind 🍺🍺🍺
Mora is nice
The handle is comfortable too
Bruh, the first one was a goddamn kitchen knife.
I dislike every knife on this list as a Bushcraft knife except for the first and last one on the list. For me a scandi grind is the only option for a dedicated Bushcraft knife. And rounded handle also preferably tho I'd sacrifice it a bit for the tops due to other features.
Schrade is underrated. My Frontier is an absolute tank.
Its a real wedge
