- There are about 100 basic Kanji characters used a lot in a daily life in Japan. This video covers all Kanji characters used for JLPT N5 level with Gif, animated images. Let's enjoy learning Kanji in a super easy way! 😊
The Kanji characters covered in this video are:
一二三四五六七八九十百千万円何日月火水木金土人男女子父母友口目耳手足上下中外左右東西南北今週毎年時間分半午前後先来立入出休行会見聞書言話語読買飲食名車本国学校生電気社店駅道
ごめんなさい!!! Sorry! Some kanji for JLPT N5 were missed in this video...😓
The video including the missing kanji characters [天空雨花山川大小白古新多少長高安魚] is now uploaded.

Corrections:
11:48 Typical pronunciation is not 'ushiro', but 'ushi[ro]'. So when it is written in Kanji & Hiragana, it needs to be written 後ろ, not just 後 for 'ushiro'.
Here are the Kanji videos showing more detailed pronunciations of each Kanji character:

It is difficult for me to learn Japanese Kanji because I spent several years learning all of these as Chinese characters. My brain immediately sees the pictorial meaning then pronounces them in Chinese first. The meaning of the symbols is the same, but the word is different.
I know. For Japanese people, it is not easy to learn Chinese pronunciation of Kanji characters, either.😟
However, you've got advantages already because Kanji in Japanese have two kinds of pronunciation: one is called Kun-reading, which is Japanese-origin sound and the other is called On-reading, which is Chinese-origin sound and you are familiar with On-reading. You need to work on Kun-reading only, basically. Ganbatte-ne.🤗
@@Obachan-KobachanAbout Chinese reading, most of them are of Middle Chinese origin, like the onyomi of 人(person) is "nin/jin" because it came from the middle Chinese "nyin". Compare Shanghainese "nyin" and Mandarin "ren".
Sounds like an advantage for me shrug 🤷🏾♂️ lol
I’m having the same problem the other way around. I’m studying 漢語 and I saw 我愛貓 and I was like “ウオ、アイ、ネコ、- wait, no. Lemme try again. ウオ、ネコが- wtf?? No!! Okay, AGAIN! Ahem. スキ、ネコ- HOW DID I-?!?!?!?!“
So far I have learned 20 of these 💪💪 Mnemonics and pictures like this are what help me understand the most. Thank you!
Wow, great! So happy to hear that. 🤗 Ganbatte ne.

J’ai un soucis avec le tracé. Kuruma. Vous mettez un petit trait en haut pour faire la croix et un grand en bas. Partout je vois que ces 2 traits sont grands?
Pour nomu, le trait horizontal dans le carré ne vas pas jusqu’au bout alors que dans le dictionnaire le carré est bien coupé par le trait. Cela me perturbe beaucoup car par exemple le kanji de kuruma a été donné au JLPT 5. Il fallait choisir entre plusieurs tracés. Donc ici j’aurais fait une erreur
Thank you so much... 😊
Most welcome! 😊

I think "behind" うしろ is kanji with okurigana 後ろ. The kanji itself 後 most of the time can be read as ご like f.e. 午後 or 最後 or 以後 etc. I don't know much vocabulary, but the reading うし I've meet only with okurigana like 後ろ I keep in mind those two "exceptions" with 後、like 後ろ and 後で (ushiro, atode) in all other combinations I try to use ご or こう and check if my memory can give me a hint - Am I right or no :)
Perfect! Thank you for your correction about 後ろ.🤗👍
I find the animations so funny because of how it is trying hard to look the same with the kanji
Under 'Description' I added the correction you gave me. Arigatou. 😊
can you please make N3 kanji video
Thank you for your request.☺️
I still have 60 Kanji characters to cover at N4 level, and it is getting harder to match Kanji and images. I'll do my best.🫡

In N5 level we need to learn 100 kanjis Or 200? Please reply!!
Different sources show different figures such as 80, 100, and 103. I have not seen 200. 100 seems to be a commonly recognised figure. Ganbatte ne.😃

I think there’s mistake with 先. I thought it meant previous
Yes, some Kanji have several meanings, and 先 means 'ahead, previous, last, beginning, first etc.' This video is for total beginners, so only one typical meaning and pronunciation is introduced to avoid overwhelming learners.☺️Detailed videos showing more meanings and pronunciations of each basic Kanji are available on this channel, Obachan-Kobachan. Please check them out.😃
@@Obachan-Kobachan oh thank you for the explanation. I think it’s definitely time for me to start studying radicals so that i can better understand the different meanings. I’m really enjoying learning Kanji. I have been speaking for a while but never learned his to read or right. Now that i learned kana and kanji, i understand a lot more.
Wow, that's great! 😊👍
Yes, once you know radicals, you can expand your knowledge of Kanji, can't you?
Ganbatte ne.🤗
@@お蔭様 yes! The radicals are helping me retain stoke order much better! The overall appearance of the Kanji don’t look so overwhelming now that I can see the parts of the kanji much better!
What is the use of learning the most difficult alphabet in the world "kanji" as everything can be written by hiragana and katakana.
I understand how you feel.
However, as each Kanji letter has a meaning, not showing only sounds like English alphabet, once you learn Kanji, it would be much easier and faster to recognise the meaning of a phrase or a sentence visually if they are written with Kanji as well. Sentences written only in Hiragana and Katakana are very hard to read once you learn Kanji.😃 Ganbatte ne.
There's a ton of reasons, but I'll just give an example:
English: There are two chickens in the garden
Japanese: 庭には二羽鶏がいる
Japanese without any kanji: にわにはにわにわとりがいる
Romaji: niwa ni wa niwa niwatori ga iru
So yeah, learning Kanji helps a LOT with actually reading Japanese.

How much of kanji in level 5
There are about 100 kanji characters to learn in order to pass JLPT N5.
❤
These things and very close variations are all over Amazon and Temu in Japan/Asia.
Mine doesn't have the detachable legs (each leg is one piece) but it has the same folding set up and mesh/clips.
The bag is also different, no zips, just a velcro flap. Also ripped really quickly around the top.
But they're really cheap and the mesh's are pretty much universal from any company. They're great alternatives to a campfire when you have to keep the fire off the ground, but can be tricky to cook on without a tripod.
It seems you wrote about something else but this Kanji video...🤔

What sun sets at 4pm ever??
