四日("yokka", 4th day) and 八日("youka", 8th day) are so similar in pronunciation, but at least I know the difference. At least I got most of it right, there's a few Kanji I'm unfamiliar with.

search in google, hiraganq reading practice that will help you, you can practice your hiragana with reading

Do what works best for you. I prefer memorizing each katakana character paired with hiragana, like learning capital letter and lowercase letter together in English. Hope this helps!
