- Today is the Bright and Bold themed unique antique challenge! My kitchen table and chair set needs a refresh. But I don’t like boring around here. So, I’m gonna go back in time and give this set a rad 80’s inspired makeover. Thanks to Krystal for hosting and Twitch for co-hosting and picking the theme! Find their channel links below.

I rarely see someone tackle a table and chair set and I was so happy to see the way you designed this one for the 'Bright & Bold' challenge. Certainly impressed with your piece. I'm sure someone will snap up this lovely set quickly.

So much green tape for the chair seats, your patience doing that is amazing. Thank goodness for respirator during the spray painting, but wow it looks great, a fabulous blue! My eyes were seriously hurting at the end of the day with all those tiny pieces. Stupid round things lol! BUT I've since had a chance to try the liquid latex and I may NEVER skip chairs again. That info is coming in my next vid though. Anyway... Thanks so much! I was channeling Jazz the whole time. Like, what would Suzie's leotard look like? This was such a fun one! Love you 🥰

Ugh, you and me both! I feel like I want to play around a little more with the glow paints before committing to them on this table though. My test with them over the acrylic didn't fully wow me like I thought they would. It almost seemed to sink in and fade. Likely because of the white acrylic which definitely mutes EVERYthing. I'll play more and promise to use them soon. Bright color is my new old favorite again! Thanks so much! 🥰

You know what, Deborah, I actually considered doing that with the chairs! Get out of my head lol. In the end I chickened out. I tried really hard to get the right vibe for this video and I know you know the intricacies of editing so that means more than I could say 🥰 Chaaaaaiiiiiirrrrrsssss lol. They are evil but a necessary evil at times right? haha YESSS side ponytail wearing a 2 tiered denim skirt and oversized knit sweater plus those jellies... classic 80s. I question my hair choices though (poodle perm and 4 inch high "bangs" 🤦🏻♀️)

Jen, I wish we lived near each other, I haven’t bought one of those sprayers yet because (read: can’t afford) I keep thinking I wouldn’t use it that often for the price but I would gladly share custody of one with you! This turned out so bright and happy, (read: totally clutch) incredible when you think about what a pain spindles can be 😜✌️
OMG yes, clutch! Wow, I just had such an 80s flashback with that descriptor 😎 So, I actually have a sprayer and it's decent but I find myself virtually never using it. I don't like dealing with the clean up, especially how much water it takes to get it fully clean. (Try to conserve as much as possible living in AZ!) I never did a topcoat though and the blue paint does transfer. Might pull out the sprayer for THAT job. Thanks so much, Margie! 🥰
