Squire is relatively middle class as he studied at grammar school. Brown is trying to be cutely charming but she can't hide her, to my ears, middle classness (for a northerner) and it's like hearing a salt of the earth chimney sweep trying to cop off with a touchy feely, but spoken for, solicitor.
