  • This is a video tutorial on how I do my fancy handles. There are many ways to go about this, and others may do things differently. But I was asked to share this, and appreciate the opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to me!
Special thanks go out to Tiffinie Helmer, ‪@hobblecreekpottery‬, Ann Ruel ‪@LittleStreetPottery‬, ‪@timseepots‬ and a host of others, who will be listed in later videos. Without their inspiration I would still be making boring pots with little pizzazz!
My hope is that by showing my learning experiences...you know, those things that some people call failures...it will inspire people to try new things. My theory is that if I'm not failing, I'm not trying hard enough! We all skinned a knee or two learning to ride a bike, right? Some times we just have to throw away the training wheels and go for it!
I'd be honored if you come along on my journey. I'll try to do these videos on a regular basis, and post more livestreams as well. If you enjoy this content please tickle that like and subscribe button, and ring that notification bell. If you know someone else who might enjoy this, please share!
You can catch me on other platforms under Pat's Pot Page as well. Check out my Patreon channel if you would like to support my pot habit and get some special content and free merchandise as part of the bargain.
Keep chasing your dreams, y'all, and stay centered!

Are you using apple cider vinegar? Does the vinegar effect your brush? Thanks for sharing!

Hi, thanks for your questions! I use white vinegar. The color you see is because I originally had this in a half-pint mason jar with a metal lid. The lid was a casualty of the acid in the vinegar! I don't think it matters what kind of vinegar, but I *assume* that the higher acid would be more beneficial. I haven't tested that theory.
So far there have been no ill effects on the brush, but I use a cheap brush for this, and clean it well when done. I can't take credit, I got the method from @Tim See
