A few good games recommended here. Of course, there's so many more even better choices once you get beyond the FPS-esque genre. How about Republic Commando, the original Deus Ex, the original Civilization, Colonization, or Master of Orion, Total Annihilation, the original Command and Conquer, the Star Wolves series, the original X-Com, Silent Storm or S3, Fallout 1 and 2, and Terraria, just to name a few.

Some of these settings are not the minimum systems a game runs on. For example, 1:31 Warhammer 40000 FireWarrior runs on a directx7 graphics-card such as a geforce2mx200 32MB RAM.
If Hollywood and Pro Sports were to just "go away", I would have enough old friends in my Steam Library to keep me entertained for the rest of my life.
You need to make a list using low demanding games from 2009-2020 such as Party Hard, Left 4 Dead 2, League of Legends, Owlboy, Stardew Valley, Hotline Miami 2, Minecraft, etc, etc. Ya' know, games people actually spend more than 15 minutes playing.
Help me find a game by description! An old game, it used to be in the catalog of browser games on PC. Playing against bots, respectively. Side view, you and the enemy have 5 horizontal paths (lines) not connected to each other, along them you and the enemy launch your warriors, and the task is to lead your warriors to the enemy’s base. As far as I remember, we play as Roman warriors, our opponents will change, barbarians, goblins and other races. A game from my childhood that evokes a lot of nostalgia, I really hope someone can help with the name!
Soldier of Fortune from 2000. That one really, REALLY brought back the gore that had went underground due to the limited 3D graphics of the era. The dismemberments were just amazing.
Haha - the dismemberments were amazing :D But I know what you are saying. I played SOF when I was new to gaming and OMG - I remember I was shaking. The atmosphere was so dense, the music and then the GORE... I think I could play it for a couple of minutes and then I was like what the hell... this is madness. Good memories :D
At 2:55 you showed Spellforce 2. I remember running that on a p3 933 and a geforce FX5200 256mb. The game was playable but if you turn realtime shadows on it became a pretty slide show.
Pirates Vikings and Knights II (2010) it's free on Steam, multiplayer and single with bots, very low requirements you won't regret this game and much fun. Trust me
NOLF brings back so much memories, also would be awesome if some developer did a third game, something in this style would be really refreshing to play, humor and action in one package, I know there are three NOLF games, first two with the same main character and an offshoot where u play as a villain but a real third episode would be really awesome

Mount and Blade: Warband is an excellent medieval game. It has an amazing simulation of it's world, and can emulate massive scale battles and even a working economy with caravans, farmers selling products at other villages and cities, etc... Look it up on steam, it's worth every penny, and the steam workshop is filled with great mods, and there are even more on sites like ModDB and Nexus.

The DOS Might and Magic games also fit this bill. Might and Magic 4&5 were just awesome even if "bad" graphics. And then 6 through 8 are even more fun.
Can someone know old open world that can use space ship, land on ground, and that game have a huge spaceship that we go and explore, and a island that be can land and explore with foot or vehicles
Both No One Lives Forever games totally deserves a proper remake. Also Command & Conquer, first Deus Ex, both Unreal's and first Far Cry. Good news: Half-Life 1 is completely redone as Black Mesa. I honestly recommend it to anyone with decent hardware who didn't tried it yet. Same guys are now working on Blue Shift and Opposing Force remakes. Other guys works on System Shock 1 and Sin remakes.
No One Lives Forever, ah my childhood :( Extremely great narrative and gripping story :D Sadly, they did not age as well as other games such as half life, but it's still worth playing only for the story alone.
@@vzmol yeah, NOLF 2 really looks pretty good for a 2002-2003 game (I don't remember exactly). Sadly, it plays poorly compared to NOLF1 imo, the mechanics and shooting are really clunky, and the level design and overall story are weaker as well. Nonetheless, a fun experience :D
There are big difference between these games. In one row we have state of art games and rubish games. But thanks, that's video brings memories, that actually was my gaming experience.

X3: Terran Conflict
Who needs wings when you have mastered the art of 'Flyditation'! This guy from Risen is taking levitation to a whole new level.
Prince Of Persia and Tomb Raider are my favorite.
Ah Vietcong, crawling through those tunnels was so scary when I was young.

NOLF is amazing. I would argue it doesn't need a remake. Another episodes - definitely!
Remake of Deus Ex and Unreal? Oh yessss
I spent thousands of hours playing MOHAA and warcraft 3. But why CS 1.6 is not included?
When I was young I hated FPS games now I'm in love with them ...never played them classic.😕 Long ago
Good list for steam deck :)
No One Lives Forever, ah my childhood :( Extremely great narrative and gripping story :D Sadly, they did not age as well as other games such as half life, but it's still worth playing only for the story alone.
Mine too, gonna check if it runs on Win 10 out of the box lol
NOLF 2 looks good... or doesn't it? I watched a review recently on YT and it looked pretty much as I remembered it. Quite charming :)
Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is missing there for sure.
Good to see I have at least half these games, but where is Age OF Empires?
I LOVE U BRO I FOUND MY BEST GAME WHEEN I WAS A KID THANKS A LOOOOOOOOOOT
Thank you for putting this list together.
4:38 look at the water - so realistic looks like a High End Game XD
gameplay over graphics bobo
There are big difference between these games. In one row we have state of art games and rubish games. But thanks, that's video brings memories, that actually was my gaming experience.
