In ur picture,holes are around 5cm×5cm.and the thickness of the wall is around 8mm.But in the northern Kerala, u can see these porothem bricks the holes are of 1sq inch only and only 3 holes in one row ,so that the wall thickness is 1 inch thick.,so that u can easily do the plumbing work also

I am a civil engineer of 30 year in the field who has used this brick.
This is a difficult material to use PRACTICALLY.
If you are interested in exposed finish without Plastering..
First check your water quality..TDS and Hardness have to be extremely low, else the entire surface is covered with with powdery salt!
Plan your electrical points extremely carefully, as addition and changes are going to spoil your aesthetics
Also I won't recommend in toilet ares, as concealed plumbing line are a pain.
Lastly , unlike bricks that can easily be picked with bare hands, the edges are sharp and ideally gloves should be used by labour..even then only one block can be carried at a time. They cannot be dumped on the ground, and have to be carefully placed.
Regarding the so called insulation of air gap as claimed, we have practically seen no difference, compared to bricks with RAT TRAP bond, where the air cavity extends for the full height of the wall.
High workmanship is required for exposed work, else, you will end up painting the surface,due to salt water, cement mortar streaks and poor pointing of joints.

Which brick is cost effective for Porotherm bricks or AAC blocks? Which of these bricks will reduce the heat? Can you please do a video explaining the differences between both of these bricks and reasons for you to suggest which one is the best? Also can we do gypsum plastering on these two bricks in order to avoid the usage of cement, its cost and heat absorption of cement? Hope to get a reply from you.

Rejeeve This brick we purchased a solid dealer from Kunnamkulam as they are directly bring from Bangalore. Office name is Terracon . One load we purchased 2200 bricks and we received without any damages this am really surprised. Even during construction no any damages found.installation is very slow because of we are maintaining brick all sides over shape grue. So looking very nice and now our neighbors are saying that inside home to feel cool . If provide good ventilation even no need fan also
