    I'm Mexican and I remember when I saw this episode, I just died laughing. The strange thing was having this internal conflict for laughing at something that should offend me, something so politically incorrect and sad, turned into pure comedy gold. Matt and Trey are geniuses and your reaction helps make it even funnier.

    That scene of Butters looking out to the crowd while naked comes from Monty Python's, The Life of Brian (which just might be the greatest movie ever made). Also, there are quite a few other jokes without punchlines, or punchlines without jokes that force you to use your imagination. My personal favorite one comes from "Breast Cancer Show Ever", where Cartman says, "What did the Breast Cancer say to the Polish monkey?"

      Sin embargo, también comprendí que "Butters" es una palabra en plural, por lo que la traducción correcta de Butters, que es plural de Butter, osea mantequilla, es su plural en castellano:
      mantequillas, con s al final.

    • @AlexanderShackles
      @AlexanderShackles ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bgonza2 First off, thank you kindly for your questions. I might go off on a few tangents here, but I'm happy to answer what I can while accepting the fact that my perspective may be flawed, and I am also prepared to admit my views may be completely wrong. I don't know everything, and I am as fallible as anyone. That being said...
      I am from the United States, having been born and raised in Washington to an American father and a British mother. I was never raised to believe in the American sense of superiority or patriotism that the American school system eventually tried to fill my head with. And as such, my view of Mexico in general is not as hostile as the typical American.
      I personally believe that Mexico seems to be a country with a rich and varied history, influenced by many peoples. It was and continues to be a cultural melting pot of sorts, and in this sense, America could very well learn much from our neighbors to the south in that regard.
      That isn't to say that all of Mexican culture is inherently good or just; there are elements within Mexico that make it a dangerous place in parts, particularly the power and control held by the major cartels operating throughout Mexico. But even there, I cannot fully fault Mexican culture for this; were it not for the unfettered access to firearms in America and the relative ease it is to transport firearms into Mexico along the southern border, I believe that these cartels would have far less power than they currently hold. We as Americans do hold a level of responsibility for the state of Mexico today, particularly those aspects of Mexico that many Americans would rather demonize Mexicans themselves for than tracing this to our own actions as a country.
      This being said, I feel that there is far too much American negativity placed at Mexico (and -- in turn -- Mexican people) for the situation as it stands now, especially in regards to the southern border. Our failure in providing a reliable system for immigration and those seeking asylum from Mexico and Central America is just that: OUR failure. People shouldn't be forced to spend weeks, months, or -- God forbid -- years at our southern border, trying to gain entry to America, especially if they are fleeing threats to the south. They shouldn't find themselves in need of crossing into America illegally just to escape the situation that we have failed to address properly. And any mistreatment or hatred towards Mexican people for what happens at the southern border is misplaced at best -- I would go so far as to call it cruel, despicable, and typically racist, built upon the belief in American exceptionalism and superiority that we as Americans are often encouraged to believe in.
      I hold no ill will towards Mexican people, and do my best to judge others by who they choose to be, not what they are. With that, I have known far more terrible American people than I have known terrible Mexican people, and I still would like to believe that Americans are -- by and large -- decent and good at heart, if misguided and foolhardy more often than we care to admit. If I can think that about American people in general, then I can see Mexico, Mexican culture, and Mexican people in general as good.
      I hope this helps. Have a pleasant evening.

      @@AlexanderShackles Wow! I'm in complete and utter shock by your fantastic answers to my questions. You went far beyond what I was expecting and I thank you fervently for doing so. You just made my entire day with your complete answers. I agree with you completely.
      The reason for asking you all those questions, is because we as Mexicans are by far the most patriotic people for our country (NOT for our corrupt government) for our culture and of our ancient culture more so than any other nationality on Earth. Our love for Mexico is like a religion to us. But that doesn't make us arrogant or think that we are superior in any way to other people. Obviously we are not. Humility is also a big part of our culture.
      But at the same time we are deeply ashamed and embarrassed of our centuries old corrupt government which is mostly responsible for all of Mexico's problems particularly with our vast poverty, organized crime (the cartels), general crime, and lack of good employment opportunities.
      This is why millions of Mexicans have over the years migrated towards the United States seeking a better life for our families and ourselves.
      Unfortunately the government of Mexico is still too powerful to overthrow or change for now. Although the current Mexican government is doing a descent job at the moment, but far from perfect still. But all the negative things of Mexico are for another time.
      As Mexicans we love whenever we see people from other countries that have any personal interest in our country or in our people or in our culture. This fills us much more with patriotism, joy, and honor.
      This is why I asked you those questions Mr. Shackles.
      Again, thank you for your time, for your fantastic responses and God Bless you and your family.
      Respectfully,
      Benito Gonzalez Garcia

Also, that "bruh?" face of yours... gets me everytime. :) It's also nice to see Dog Poo (yes, that's the character's actual name) in more episodes. I think he's only had spoken lines once and that was way back in season 6, in the "Professor Chaos" - "Simpsons Already Did It" two parter. But if you are going to do those two episodes then I recommend watching Season 5's "Proper Condom Use" first. :)

    Dash, you should review the differences in pizza in Japan. I've lived in several countries, and I discovered that there were significant differences but I enjoyed them all. Most memorable were in Brussels, there was a pizza called Pizza Au Moules (white pizza with mussels & herbs). Sounds vile, smells a bit funky, absolutely delicious. In Germany a common topping is fresh corn kernels, so they'll make a pizza and then top it with uncooked sweet corn kernels. I guess that's kind of like pineapple and pizza because it gives you that sweet crunch to go with the salty. And it's pretty good. White pizza with smoked trout, kohlrabi matchsticks & a drizzle of horseradish... yum. Thai chicken pizza with pad Thai sauce as the base, broiled chicken, mozzarella, basil & bean sprouts with a dusting of crushed roasted peanuts.
    I can't imagine what Japanese Pizza might be like. Monkfish Sashimi Pizza? Fish organ pizza? Miso and Bonito flake Pizza (which sounds awesome, white pizza with miso paste & shaved Bonito flakes, green onion, mushrooms, & uncooked kohlrabi or rasdish matchsticks with a touch of Wasabi on the side... i might have to experiment)? Pizza with a wiff of vending machine panties? Lol.

      There is a Netflix show - Ugly Delicious - each episode is a different type of food (pizza, etc). In the episode about pizza, he goes to several different cities, including the "birthplace of pizza" in Italy to a cool little spot where you can look through a window into the kitchen below. He also goes to Japan of all places for their take on a pizza. I'm not sure the Japanese place qualifies as pizza, at least not in the traditional sense, but his passion was there! It was certainly a beautiful looking presentation. And I'm sure delicious for people with a better palette than I have. ;-)

    “What the heck is the difference between a donkey & a mule?”
    Im glad you asked. The differences are quite noticeable. First, a mule is half-donkey. Mules are a hybrid offspring of a donkey and a horse. You can see the differences in that a mules can be the same height as a horse but has longer ears, and a mule is taller than a donkey. Mules are used as “work horse”, pulling carriages, carrying heavy loads, etc. Mules aren’t there own viable species, to my knowledge, only the result of mating two different species, like a liger( tiger x lion)
    Edit: a mule is the cross of a female horse and a male donkey, specifically. Had to look it up, wasn’t sure at first.

    • @featherpony

    I love that some of the dialogues have a bad translation, in 6:29 when that guy said: "Mantequilla is right" in spanish, he should have said: "Mantequilla tiene razón", but he said: "Mantequilla tiene derecho" in english that would mean "Mantequilla has rights". Other would be in 11:13, "You have a decision to make", in spanish that would means "Tu tienes que tomar una decision", but he said "Tu tienes que ser una decision" and in english that would be "You have to be a decision". That is kind of funny because those Mexicans know less spanish than Butters.

  • @SaturnineXTS
    @SaturnineXTS ปีที่แล้ว

    The difference between a donkey and a mule is that a mule is a crossbreed between a donkey jack and a mare. (there also exists a reciprocal cross called a "hinny", which has somewhat different attributes). They're infertile, but otherwise superior to donkeys in every way, and to horses in multiple ways too, except perhaps only top sprinting speed. They live up to 50 years as opposed to horse's 30, they're much more sure-footed (great for riding on rough terrain), are noticeably more intelligent, are very affectionate, eat and drink less and can thrive on lower quality feed, have harder and more compressed hooves, and are overall really awesome. In terms of physical attributes they're stronger then horses at the same body weight (and draft breeds can equal some of the biggest horses in size, so they're just stronger period), and have better endurance too. In addition to that - their sure-footedness also makes them great for riding on flat terrain, most riders would characterize it as having "better suspension than horses", since they don't shake nearly as much, so you feel like you're gliding. So yeah, mules take everythign that's best in horses and donkeys and take it up to 11
