yeah I can figure all that out with screws and wheels. How about some details on removing existing legs and wheels on the RT-1250 and mounting this easily onto the grill. All that was easy, now show me how to get the old onto the new!!!!!

Did you have to remove your front shelf to transition it to the cart?

I just received and assembled mine today. This thing is a beast! Well worth the money.

I have the 1250 still in the box, waiting for the cart, anyone know if i should install the front shelf prior to cart install or does front shelf go last?

Seriously? You aren’t going to show how to put the grill on this?

I bought the 700 Bull with competition cart two months ago and there is NO problem with the cords. There is a cut out and grommet on the left end panel for the controller cables to pass thru and the power cord comes out the back of the controller shelf Not thru the competition cart.

larry harvey I’ll have to look at mine again. The power cord in the body of the smoker comes out of the left side, and is below the cart surface, so my cord is pinched between the cart and the body. The grommet in the smoker body, on mine, is lower than the top of the comp cart.

@@joshfurgye6328 They may have recently changed the left panel on the cart. Watching the video I see both ends are straight edged on the top with no downward curve / cutout and reading previous comments on the cart others have also been concerned about the wire being pinched. Rect Tec has stated in the past that there cable is in a sheath and not affected.
This being said looks like they listened to customers and changed the design. You cannot top their equipment or quality of service. I researched for 2 years before I took the leap to RecTec and did so due to Satisfied Customers response.

This is good stuff here! My only complaint is that I bought one of these for my RT700, and the comp cart doesn’t have a cutout for the power cord.

I would love to win one of these beauties for Fathers Day...................I don't do social media except for here at TH-cam and am hoping someone from the RecTec family will provide me some guidance.

I will call complete BS on the “ease” of assembly as shown. The machine screws don’t fit the holes properly. I have had to take a drill bit and use it similar to a file to get the screws to fit through. They line up, but they are just a micro bit to small for the screws. My corded impact driver wouldn’t even push them through without filing the holes some.
