  • Jasper National Park, located in the Canadian Rockies, is famous for its beautiful waterfalls, colored lakes, abundant wildlife, majestic mountains and endless outdoor activities.
Extending over 11,000 square kilometres, it's the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies and part of UNESCO's Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site.
In this video we would like to share with you some of the most scenic places in Jasper National Park.
    00:37 - Sunwapta Falls
Sunwapta Falls is a pair of waterfalls on the Sunwapta River. Sunwapta is a Stoney language word that means "turbulent water".
The water originates from the Athabasca Glacier.
    01:02 - Moberly Bend
A scenic bend on the Athabasca River in a beautiful setting of Rocky Mountains.
    01:16 - Athabasca Falls
Athabasca Falls is a powerful, picturesque waterfall on the upper Athabasca River located a short drive from the village of Jasper.
    02:03 - Athabasca River
The Athabasca River originates at the Columbia Icefield and flows more than 1,231 km before emptying into Lake Athabasca.
It is designated a Canadian Heritage River for its historical and cultural importance.
    02:32 - Maligne Lake
Maligne Lake is famed for the colour of its azure water, the surrounding peaks, the three glaciers visible from the lake, and Spirit Island, a frequently and very famously photographed islet. It is fed and drained by the Maligne River, which enters the lake on its south side, near Mount Unwin and drains the lake to the north.
    04:16 - Pyramid Lake
Pyramid Lake is a kidney-shaped lake and lies at the foot of Pyramid Mountain, a natural landmark that overlooks the town of Jasper.
    05:28 - Tangle Creek Falls
Tangle Falls is a pretty impressive multi-tiered waterfall located along Icefields Parkway near the Columbia Ice Fields and the Columbia Skywalk. It has 4 drops, and is 48 meters tall.
05:53 - Icefields Pkwy, Athabasca River
Scenic drive through the Jasper National Park with beautiful views and a lot of wildlife including grizzly bears crossing the street.
Enjoy Canada's Rocky Mountains at its best !
