Very pretty- I mite make a few for Halloween for the niece and nephew! I have fall woodsies and pretty ribbon (I’m going to give it a try) insert folded money and box of small Halloween marshmellows and hershey bar.
These yuletide pockets would look wonderful filled with cards on the Christmas tree Cathy. What a lovely surprise to come upon on Christmas morning with each family member claiming their prize. Homemade gifts are always so charming. Thanks Cathy for sharing your creativity with us all.

I too thought about making an envelope for this project. However my handmade envelopes are not this size or shape. These are thinner than mine. So I went with this method. 💐🥰

you can also hold the envelope above a steaming pot to get the glue to let go. just be sure to use tongs so you dont burn yourself.
