I auditioned for SU and GSU, Gram offered me $1100 and SU offered me $600 a semester. So guess what school I choose... 1995 was my freshman year at Gram. I am from New Orleans and all my family went to Southern. GSU band was different than what I was used too but I loved every momment.
Crabbed in 2007 the band sounds so different and good we need to get back to thatI guess we could get back to that tradition if Our writers could write on a college level we sound like a high school band my High school Whitehaven would give us the business sad to say But I hope we get better though because I'm tired of hearing what Grambling Used to do and where they used to go It needs to be What Grambling is Doing and where we are going We need to put more effort in 2009'New Year New Sound!
I remember my behind getting put outta the band for 7 games for hazing and then being let back in for the Classic. Talk about was off the chain! I love this band mane!
92 was one of the top GSU Bands in the 90's, not disrespecting the current band director the baa some work OLD HEADS We need take off work and be there for this 2010 band camp seriously
I crabbed in 02'... We were traditional then and very disciplined... The upperclassmen were all on the same page... Doc (pannell) didnt baby us niether... We were molded traditionally... I think the problem now is that the musicianship and discipline... my last r.i.p. was the fall of 06... we had a very big band but very little muscianship and discipline... we had quantity not quality... @babyboy478 where did yall get your uniforms form. my middle school band trying to get unifroms and we want the kind grambling has we big fan of gsu we copy everything from yall we even got two of the big bass drum on wheels. i drumline section. comin to grambling in 2013

02 was definitely the last crab class with discipline and pride..03 had the worst discipline..04 and 05 weren't bad but by then we had upperclassmen out of control.
I live in Ohio and everything is the OSU Marching Band, TBDBITL and so on. OSU's band doesn't even remotely compare to these bands. They're good but these bands are prodigies.
